Hey friends ! This is chapter one of my new book ; Looking For a Mind at Work ;
Angelica's POV :
I sat down in my room , Eliza and Peggy squealing next door and father down stairs with some men .
They were all interested in our hands for marriage ... Peggy had fancied one of the men , who goes by John Laurens .
All of them served under General George Washington . Three very handsome men , John Laurens , Aaron Burr , who've I've know since I was younger... And Alexander Hamilton...
I fancied Alexander but I knew I should keep my mouth shut .... Just in case Dear Eliza liked him too , which I doubt she did .
I heard some mainly laughs and our maid came to our rooms .
"Miss Angelica ... Your father wishes to speak with you and your sisters " Alice said . I thanked her and knocked on their doors .
"Angie !!! What's wrong?" Eliza asked me when j walked in her room .
"Father's made up his mind " I said . Eliza smiled at me and then we grabbed Peggy and walked down the stairs .

"The Scyhuler Sisters " Aaron said smiling .
Us three sisters sat down and we waited .... How was father going to do this ?
"Angelica ? A word in my study please ... Sir you can come in within a moment " he said .
I'm wasn't sure who I was marrying but I prayed that it was Alexander.
"Hello Father " I said and sat down in a chair .
"Angelica... I believe you know why I've had these young men here "
"I do father "
"So , I believe... That this kind gentlemen here would take care of you .... For the rest of your days my pet " my father smiled at me .
The door opened and Aaron Burr walked in ... My mind froze burr ?
"Hello Miss Schuyler ... I've already gotten your father's blessing ... Miss Angelica , would you please give me your hand in marriage?" He asked popping down on one knee and showing a beautiful ring.
I looked at my father and he smiled , I didn't want to make him unhappy ...
"Yes Mr. Burr" I said and he placed the ring on my finger. He kissed my hand and we walked out .
Maybe Eliza would get Alexander.

Angelica came out with Mr. Burr holding her hand . I think they make an adorable couple .... Even though Angie disagrees .
I was torn ... I really like Alexander but I feel as if he likes Angie .
I mean I've know Alexander since last Thanksgiving when father had us help with some of General Washington's troops .
He's was a kind person who had this eye for art and had an excellent adventures and I was rather boring ...
Then again father would always break Peggy's heart and have me marry John Laurens .
I walked in my father office and he smiled at me .
"Hello Lizzie " he said and hugged me . I let out a smile and the door opened .
Alexander walked in with a smile on his face and I smiled even wider .
"Alex ... I mean Mr. Hamilton." I said and he kissed my hand .
"Miss. Elizabeth Scyhuler .... We've only know each other for a short period of time but I feel as if I couldn't go on anymore without you .... Would you please give me your hand in marriage?" Alexander asked and pulled out a gorgeous blue ring .
"Yes !" I said and wrapped my arms around him and hugged me.

Peggy's POV:
Eliza and Alexander came out with smiles on their face so I knew that John would be proposing to me !
I walked into my father office and he didn't say a word . With in a moment John asked me and I screamed a yes !
