The old keeper

Aphmau POV

     I woke up but me being me I refused to open my eyes, I felt warm and I smelt the forest, almost instantly I knew who I was near, I opened my eyes a little bit and saw Garroths peaceful sleeping face, I smiled because I thought he was adorable when he was asleep. I looked around from where I was and noticed a couple of things, Garroth was laying down, he tied himself to Raven so he wouldn't fall off, I was tied to him so I wouldn't fall off, we were still flying. I heard some grumbling and I saw Garroth open his eyes, he looked at me and smiled tiredly "morning Aph" he said his British accent a little thicker and his voice was raspy

     I giggled "morning Gar" I said poking his nose "boop" I put my hands on his chest and laid my head on my hands "so when did you fall asleep" I asked

"Not to long after you, I had to get laurance to give me his rope though" he said his smile getting a little bigger "so how did you sleep" he asked

"Pretty good" I said moving closer

"Good you two are up, we're about to land so get ready" Raven said looking back at us "hold on" he dives out of the sky like he did when we got attacked, I squealed and grabbed onto Garroth, Garroth chuckled and wrapped his arms around me, I glared at him and pushed myself up a bit to show him I wasn't scared, but Raven landed with a thud so I was forced downward thanks physics , I closed my eyes as I smashed into Garroth, when I opened my eyes again I realized it had become hard to breath through my mouth, I looked down and saw Garroths lips over mine, I took in a sharp breath through my nose and started to blush crimson red

I saw Garroth open his eyes and he started blushing to, I didn't want to pull away because I liked it, but I had the need to breath (the Christian band anybody, no, ok *listens to song of theirs*) so I forced myself to pull away "u-u-uuuuuuh" was all that would come out

     "Sorry" he said still blushing "I didn't mean for that-" I cut him off

     "It's ok, if anything it was my fault" I said trying to get up, but I was still tied to Garroth, he noticed I was trying to get and started to untie me

     We finally got the knot untied and jumped off Raven, when we got off Raven I ran over to Star and hugged her muzzle "I'm so glad your ok, I was fearing the worst" I said remembering the giant pack of raptors that attacked her

"You shouldn't be worried about me I'm a dragon, I would have been fine, it's you we have to worry about, you fainted after using your powers that could be a problem in the future" Star said nudging me a little

I giggled and turned to everyone else "so where are we supposed to go from here" I asked

"Go nowhere else you must, follow me you will" said a raspy voice behind us, I turned and saw a short man with a long white beard "the keeper you must find, take you to him I will" A/N he will talk like Yoda cause I said so the man said with a bright smile

"You will that's so kind of you" I said returning the smile

"Come come, to his house we go, your name young ones what is it" he asked as he started to walk away

"Aphmau we don't need him to lead us, I know the way" Star said following me when I started after the old man

"Cocky dragon you are, long time has it been since you were there, yes?" The man asked

"Well yes but I remember" Star said trying not to be impolite

"Anyway, I'm Aphmau, the blue haired one is Katelyn, the light brown haired one is Laurance, and the blonde one is Garroth" I said blushing when I said Garroth's name

"I'm Star, the blue one is Tara, the orange one is Ungrth, and the golden one is Raven" Star said "and I am sorry for coming off as rude old one, I need to learn to respect my elders"

"Fine it is purple one, almost there we are" the old man said "Gray my name is"

"So Gray do you live with the keeper" Garroth asked

"Say that you could, not right it is" Gray said, in the distance I saw a giant wooden and stone building "my children, here we are, but old I am, ride a dragon I must" Gray said looking at Star, she bowed her head and got on sitting just at the back of her head and holding her horns to keep steady

     We got to the building and I stared In Wonder it was so much bigger than I previously thought, Tara pricked her ears and growled at a shaded spot near some large trees, I saw movement and a Giant purple dragon stepped out, our dragons were on high alert and ready to fight, except Star was just staring at the dragon "young one I would ask that you refrain from looking at me in that way" the dragons said, it's deep voice clearly giving away the fact that he was male

     Star looked away and crouched down beside me, I saw Raven look at Star and then at the other male dragon, Raven glared at the male dragon for some reason "so who are you" I asked

     "I am Glenwing the keepers dragon partner" Glenwing said holding his head high proudly

     "I see your ego is just as big as Star's" I said with a slight giggle

     "So where's the old keeper" Katelyn asked impatiently

     "Be here he will, time you must give" Gray said walking in the house "come now breakfast we must have"

     At the mention of food I bolted inside and tried to find the kitchen, but I got lost in the maze of hallways, I turned a corner to find a dead end I was going to turn back but I felt a dark presence "stop" a menacing voice said

     "Who are you" I said drawing my sword "show yourself"

     "Oh just a humble nightmare giver, nothing bad lightning master" he said, I saw a dark cloud form from the walls, I lowered my sword and starred at the strange cloud, soon it was apon me and I wanted to back away but I couldn't some force was holding me in place "yes child, give in to the darkness, your power will be unlimited, and you could have anything you ever wanted" the voice said, then I remembered where I heard this voice from

     "Slade" I growled, the dark cloud was surrounding me and I couldn't get away as much as I tried to

     "Yes child it is I, the all powerful Slade" he said "and you are about to become my personal puppet" he laughed maniacally, fear engulfed my brain, he was just distracting me

     "Aphmau!!" I heard someone call, I knew instantly who it was.........Garroth
