Part II

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Phantasy immediately woke up, lying on her bed in her brown pajamas inside a small, dark room - crumbled papers scribbled with vast amount of drawings attached onto the pale wall. Porcelain dolls are set in place on a chair next to a plain wooden desk covered with notebooks - alongside with a window to the left of the metal bed at dark with a lowly lighted candle. Phantasy pulled herself up, feeling concerned in her thoughts about her mysterious nightmare as it slowly erases itself from her mind. After stretching for a bit, making herself feel wide-awake, she turned to see another girl right in front of her.

"Wah-" Phantasy blurted out, right before she covered her mouth. "You scared me!"

It was quiet for a moment. The girl flinched but kept on staring, focusing at her. Phantasy sighed and continued on, scratching her head, "Vyola, what are you doing? Can't you sleep?"

"Well, don't make me feel so worry about you reacting to your own nightmare." She said, arms crossing each other. "After all, it freaked me out. Even though, at least you weren't even snoring this time."

"Heh-heh. . ."

No response came along after that, Both Phantasy and Vyola looked straight at each other eye to eye like two snails staring face to face.

"Ah, you blinked."

"Who said we're having a staring contest?" Vyola pouted.

"But you are so cute that way."

"D-Don't make me feel embarrassed." Vyola grumbled, blushing, "Anyway, what was your dream all about?"

"Oh," Phantasy said, both her index fingers touching each other, "It was a really odd nightmare. There was a shadowy monster that looks like a reaper, and a really creepy ghost and her pets that wanted to eat me. So, I tried to run away, and it was like running forever in the darkness. I was a dying horse. That scary ghost is as scary as seeing Ms. Fatty Dordle's bedroom!"

"Scary as Ms-" She shivers, not so excited wanting to remember what it's like being in there.

"Oh, I'd just remembered something." Phantasy blurted out. "Hey, guess what?"

"What?"

"Today is the fun day - It's the field trip! The day where you, me, Devin and everyone else in the foster homes can go have fun on an adventure!"

"Mmmm, I want to go to the gift store. I'm way too excited to go there. I wonder how much would I buy with 18 ouros."

"Who knows? Anyway I'm gonna tell Devin."

As Phantasy jumped off her bed, she felt something queer and rocky touched her. She looked back and saw a silver crystal orb and realized that she had seen that before, back when the reaper threw it at her. She took the orb and said, "How odd, how did this get here from my dream?"

Vyola stared at the orb for a second, and back at Phantasy in perplexity, "From your dream?" She asked. Phantasy grabbed the lantern off the ground and turned it on. Holding the orb with her left hand, Phantasy replied, "Yep, this orb came from my dream. I don't know how and why, but it belongs to The Silent Reaper."

"The Silent Reaper?" Vyola suddenly paused for a moment, "Oh, so that's what it is?"

"Huh? You mean that you don't know about the legend about the Silent Reaper whom only kids can see and talk to?"

"N-No, but another mystery about Phantasy I can never solve. . ." Vyola sighed. She next glanced at the clock that is sitting on the desk. The time was five-fifteen in the morning.
