Hey, fellas! My exams are on the go and I'm unable to write anything more due to the constant pressure of studies! I'm updating this chapter for the curious ones who're eagerly waiting for a story part... Happy Reading! :)
"Five replies till now." I sighed, staring at the envelopes on my study table. Three days had passed already.
"Yes." Tiffany smiled. "Now let's check out who's nicer than whom."
She started reading all the five letters one by one and finally, looked at me.
"Woah! It's difficult to judge. They all seem to have the same story. But no one's a dentist here." She chuckled. "But hey, you've received a letter from this Mr. Benson who's a billionaire. He has adopted four kids from various orphanages already. You'll be the fifth. Can you imagine what it would be to be a part of a billionaire's family? Lucky you."
Billionaire. Fucking rich. Four kids.
Yeah, this is true that receiving a letter from a billionaire who wants to adopt you, is a dream come true for anybody, but I would like to stay with a simple family. It would be easier that way.
"Tick off the billionaire, please." I replied. "I'm interested in normal people."
Tiffany threw me an are-you-serious look, but she didn't say anything.
"So tomorrow the dentists are coming to meet me." I bit my lip.
"Yes, they're. I've kept your best dress ready for you." She smiled. "It's in your cupboard."
"Oh. Thank you, Tiffany. You're a great help." I smiled back.
"No problem, dear." She chuckled. "I'll send them up here in your room. Talk how much you want to."
"W-what? In my room?" I felt a little scared.
In my room alone with a couple of strangers seemed scary to me.
"No worries. They're just a family. They won't take any of your teeth out." Tiffany laughed.
"Tiffany? There's a phone call for you." I heard someone call out from downstairs.
"Coming." She shouted back and stood up.
"I should get going. Come for dinner on time." She patted my back and walked out.
After dinner, I was called in Tiffany's cabin.
"Hey, what's the news?" I asked as I stepped in her cabin.
"Well, Dr. Ansel and Madeline Brian will be here tomorrow at 10 am with two of their children. Get ready before that. I'll get your breakfast in your room at 8.30 am. You already know where your dress is." She said without a pause.
