Ansel pulled out in front of a two storey brick house with a patch of lawn outside.

I didn't know this part of Tennessee. It was situated in a countryside and was surrounded by pleasant green hills and very little settlements.

"Here we are." David hopped off the car, letting the car door open wide for me to get out.

I climbed out of the car as Madeline and Poppy got busy with pulling my bags out.

"Welcome home, Raven." Ansel announced as he unlocked the main door.

The entrance led me to a comfortable living room with a fireplace in the middle. There was a huge LED TV at a side along with soft couches.

Next to the living room, was a well equipped kitchen, with creamy white cabinets.

"I'll show Raven my room." David jumped up and down like a little excited child.

"Sure, baby boy. Give her a thorough tour of our house." Madeline smiled as she kept my bags at a side.

"I'll get those upstairs in your room." Ansel assured.

Poppy seemed to be bored with everything and so she helped herself to the kitchen and opened the fridge to take something out.

"Come with me, Raven." David giggled as he ran upstairs.

"Easy, little fella." Ansel shouted, his voice filled with concern for his son.

I follwed him obediently, trying to catch pace.

Once upstairs, he brought me in a room that was close to the stairs.

"This is Poppy's room." He smiled brightly, giving a slight push to the pink door.

The door opened, revealing pink colored walls with a row of Barbie dolls and teddy bears. The room had a single bed with pink bedsheets and pillow covers. Too much of pink. No wonder Poppy is so girly.

David's room was next to Poppy's. It was a blue colored room with a small blue bed and hundreds of toys, lying all over the floor.

"Next is your room." He ran to the room at the farthest corner.

It was a normal one without any glossy effects. It had wooden colored walls and a queen sized bed at the window side. There was a study table, a chair and a big cupboard in the room.

The window gave a beautiful view of the greenery and the backyard.

"Did you like your room?" David jumped up and down in excitement.

"Of course, I do." I smiled.

There was an attached bathroom with my room. It had blue tiles and a swan shaped sink. I liked it very much.

"I've got your bags." Ansel cleared his throat as he entered in the room.

"Thanks." I grinned as he placed them next to the bed.

"David, Mum needs you downstairs right now." He patted David's back who was still going on and on about his school and friends.

"Here I come." He laughed and ran outside like a whirl wind.

"Easy there." Ansel yelled. "Raven, I'll give you some privacy. We'll be downstairs. Madeline will call you when it's suppertime."

"Sure." I said and closed the door after he left.

Not that bad as I had thought. It's a pretty comfortable place. But that girl, Poppy... She seems to be bored with me. My presence.
