I woke up with thousands of questions swarming in my head, with little answers to satisfy me. The first thing I thought of was my relationship with Harry, if you would even call what we have a relationship. Seeing him come home from his date with London drove me nuts. I made a plan to distance my thoughts and feelings of him as far as possible, but so far it wasn’t working. Then my mind wandered to Niall. Were we close to kissing last night? The thought sent shudders down my body. The closer to Niall I was the happier I became. Was it possible to like two boys at the same time?
I sighed frustrated and changed for the day ahead, putting on a cute pair of jeans and a random t-shirt, while throwing my hair up in a messy bun.
I walked out of my room and started walking down the hall only to be stopped by Harry exiting his room as well. “Cass!” He said, worriedly. “Listen, I need to talk to you.”
I brushed past him and continued walking. “There’s nothing to talk about.” I stated plainly. He quickly yanked me by the arm and pulled me into his room, shutting the door behind us. “Hey!” I yelled angrily. I looked around expecting to find a half- naked London sauntering around, but she was nowhere in sight.
“Cass, I am so sorry!” Harry said quickly. “I never meant to hurt you! You’re the last person on this earth that I would want to hurt!”
“Hurt me?” I stated, faking confusion. “How did you hurt me? It was just a silly kiss, it didn’t mean anything.” I told him, practically numb.
“Didn’t… mean anything?” Harry whispered, looking hurt.
“Yeah, you have a girlfriend who you can’t get enough of and I’m this new girl off the street. How could you have feelings for me?” I concluded, trying to fight back the tears.
Harry stared at me in shock. “Is that what you think?” He took a step closer to me and was about to say more when London walked in with just a towel across her body with her wet hair combed back.
“Need something?” She asked sharply.
It was too early in the morning to come up with a good lie so I said a quick “no” and glided past her and headed down the stairs for breakfast.
I walked into the kitchen to find Zayn and Belle sitting at the counter, drinking coffee and chatting. “Morning.” Belle said, smiling at me.
“Morning.” I grumbled as I looked in the cabinet for a poptart.
“So…” Belle said, leaning forward as if she was about to tell a secret. “How was the ice cream thing with Niall?”
“Well it was completely packed, so Niall just made milkshakes for us here.” I explained, taking a bite out of my poptart.
“Anything else?” She questioned, leaning in even closer.
Unsure myself, I continued eating my poptart. “What else is there?” I stated in between bites.
“What else is there for what?” asked Riley as she skipped into the room.
“Cass and Niall’s night out.” Belle grumbled unhappily as she sipped her coffee.
“Well that’s ok, I’m sure you guys will have more time to spend together .” Riley stated, smiling.
Belle looked at her confused so Riley gave her a knowing nod.
“What’s going on?” I asked suspiciously.
“Nothing!” Belle and Riley said in sync.
Just then Harry came in and headed towards the cabinets. “Morning everyone.” He said under enthusiastically staring at me with a frown.
