Ashley's POV
Chapter Thirteen:
The next day started out pretty normal. I got ready for school and everything, just the usual same old thing. But everything was different when I got to school. Once I walked into the building I could feel everyone staring me down. I was used to the few stares I got on an everyday basis, but this was a different stare. It was more of a hateful stare, and I could tell by the grimaced expression on everyone's face when I met their eyes. I had a feeling I knew exactly why this was happening. Lauren must have told everyone.
"What did you do?" I asked Lauren.
"What are you talking about?" She flipped her hair off of her shoulder and smiled innocently.
"Oh please don't play dumb with me. You promised you wouldn't tell anyone."
"I didn't tell anyone. I just happened to take a pic of you and that loser in the library and accidently sent that picture to everyone in my contacts on my phone." She smiled widely before slamming her locker closed.
I groaned before rushing off. I didn't have time to deal with her. I had to find Zayn and tell him.
"Don't worry I made sure to send it to Harry," Lauren added.
"Zayn, Zayn I am so sorry I have bad news," I ran to Zayn, who was putting books inside of his locker.
"I already know," He closed his locker, revealing his face that had a large red mark on it.
"Oh my god what happened to you?" I touched the warm red mark on his face, making him flinch.
"Listen just don't worry about it. I'm going back home anyways," He closed his locker and walked away from me.
"Zayn wait," I called for him but he just kept walking. What was I going to do. There was no telling what everyone else was thinking about me. I had to leave. There was no way I could handle all of this.
I was almost out of the door until I passed by Harry. Once he realized it was me, he grabbed my forearm and pulled me outside.
"Harry quit it I have to go," I tried jerking my arm out of his grasp but it didn't work.
"At least explain all of this to me first," He said.
"I don't have to explain anything to you."
"Really? Is he the reason why you would never spend time with me? Why you never talked to me?"
"Oh don't even start that Harry. Don't even try acting all innocent. You could have easily called me or came over to my house but guess what, you didn't. You were always too busy with Alyssa or some other stupid girl."
"Excuse me? What's that supposed to mean?" He asked.
"I saw you with Alyssa last night. I know about you always making some dumb excuse to hang with Josh when you really are with Jessica. Harry I know about everything you did with everyone while we were still dating so don't accuse me of being the bad person here," I yelled at him.
"You're just as bad as me so don't even try that!" He yelled right back.
Harry let go of my arm and I slowly took a step away from him. He was right. I was a lying cheater too. I looked around and noticed there was a small crowd of nosy people surrounding us.
"Whatever we are through," He said quietly.
"Good," I managed to say before I pushed past the crowd and ran to my car.
