Ashley's POV

Chapter Two:

"So how was your day?" My mother asked me.

I shrugged my shoulders and pushed the food around my plate with a fork.

"Well," she sighed. "Mine was going good until I got a call from your school."

I held the fork still and looked up at her. "And?" I asked.

"And they told me you were absent from all of your afternoon classes today," she said with a stern face.

I nodded and went back to moving around the food. This whole thing was stupid. Her 'good mother' act was starting to piss me off more than it already had been from the beginning. She was never a good mother and she never will be.

"What do you have to say about that?" She asked.

"Yea," I said.

I tried to hold back my smile. I could feel my mother staring at me angrily.

"You can't start this again Ashley Lynn. We just moved here so you could have a fresh beginning. So things will be better for you," she said.

"Better for me? The only reason we came to this stupid town was so you could find another boyfriend to mess around with, which we all know won't last too long."

My mother quickly stood up and pushed her plate off of the table. The glass plate and food scattered across the wood floor.

"Go to your room!" She yelled.

"Good. I'd much rather be in my room than eating that mess you call dinner!" I yelled back at her.

I quickly made my way to my room. My mother yelled that I was grounded before I slammed my door. I laughed to myself before plopping down on my bed. I loved making her mad. It was so easy. Plus, I found her reactions to be very funny.

I picked up my phone and quickly dialed Harry's number. I already wanted to leave here. I told him I was coming over before grabbing my coat and climbing out of my bedroom window.

I had 'snuck out' or whatever you wanted to call it many times before. My mother grounded me a lot. The words "you're grounded" had no effect on me now. I've heard them too much.

I pulled my coat closer to my body and continued to walk down the long sidewalk. It was starting to get dark outside, but I didn't care. I wasn't afraid of walking alone in the dark. Plus Harry's house was only a few houses away from mine.

Once I knocked on the door Harry quickly answered.

"That was fast," He said before grabbing me gently and pulling me inside of his house.

"Well I was already on my way when I called you," I told him while taking my jacket off.

I looked around his house before asking, "Where's your mom?"

"Business trip," He answered.

Harry lived with just his mother. His mom and dad had been divorced for quite a few years, and his sister left for college last year. Basically, it seemed like only Harry lived here. His mom was always working or going on business trips. Either way Harry still seemed happy.

"Are you hungry or anything?" He asked me.

"Nope. I just ate before I got here," I told him.

He nodded and grabbed my hand. I followed him to the couch and sat beside him. He turned on some movie and pulled me closer to him.

I looked up at the television and tried to watch the movie. I wasn't sure what we were watching, but I couldn't pay attention. Harry breath was warm against my neck and his hands were traveling all around my body. I kept trying to ignore him, but it was too hard. He could tell what I was trying to do, because I felt him laugh quietly.

"Do you mind?" I looked back at him.

"No I don't mind," he smirked.

I rolled my eyes at him and pushed him away. "You're so touchy."

"What's wrong with that? You never complained before about me being touchy," He put his arms around me.

I shrugged my shoulders and turned to face him. He brought his face closer to mine. "Why don't we give up on this movie and head upstairs?"

I nodded my head yes. He gently pushed me off of his lap and stood up. I walked upstairs while he was locking the front door and turning off all the lights.

I stood at the doorway to Harry's room and looked around. I stared at his organized room, all neat and tidy. This was unusual.

"Something wrong?" Harry asked while walking towards me.

"Yea. Your room is clean," I told him.

"Well thanks. That's why I don't clean it often," he laughed.

"Well you did a good job on it," I walked into his bedroom and stood in the center of the room, still admiring the cleanliness of his room.

"I know," He smirked before walking towards me.

He placed his hands on my waist and brought his lips towards mine. Harry slowly brought us to his bed, making sure not to break the kiss. We both fell onto his bed, making us laugh.

I rolled over towards him and climbed on top of him. I smiled down at him before slipping his shirt off and running my hand down his toned torso.

He shook his curls at me before grabbing my wrists and holding them in his hands. "I'm in charge," He said before flipping us over.

I struggled to get free but it was no use. He was a lot stronger than I was. I sighed and pouted at him, "It's my turn."

"Nope. I don't take turns," He pushed the hair out of my face.

"That's not fair," I tried to free my wrists out of his grasp.

Instead, he grabbed both of my wrists in one hand and leaned towards me. "I don't play fair," he whispered into my ear.
