Betrayal

Percy pov.
All I felt was hurt.
Since about 3 months ago, my life has been a living Tartarus. I should know. I've been there, for the person who hurt me most.
And all of it started when Jack came to camp.

Flashback
I was walking along the beach, trying out my new powers Poseidon gave me after the war with Gaea. All of the seven were made immortal as a reward for our bravery, and enhanced powers from their parents. Annabeth also asked to be able to say anything to the gods without punishment for 1 minute, just so she could say "Fuck you" to Hera. It was hilarious.
Anyway, I heard a high-pitched scream coming from the camp borders, and I ran as fast as I could to see what was going on. A boy with golden hair, brown eyes, and slightly tanned skin was running from the Minotaur. "Man, that guy doesn't stay dead long enough" I thought.
He looked about my age, and more like a model than a demigod. He was probably a son of Aphrodite. I sprinted to help him, and along the way I saw Nico running near me. We teamed up and quickly killed the Minotaur. I went to help the boy, but when I helped him up he stole Riptide and pushed me to the ground.

As other campers finally got to the scene, he yelled "I killed the Minotaur while he just sat and watched!" I started to protest, but Chiron just said "I'm disappointed in you Percy. I thought you were better than this." Everybody expect Nico believed the guy, even Annabeth.

Just that week, the new guy, Jack, turned all of my friends against me. He lied and told Grover that I broke his reed pipes, the Stolls that I told Chiron about the prank they were planning, Will that I broke his bow, and Katie that I trampled her garden, and so on. He even was claimed as the favorite son of Posiedon, while Posiedon disowned me. But when he did, my powers didn't go away like they should've, they just stayed as they were.

Soon everyone at camp hated me, even though I did none of those things. They looked at Jack as if he was a hero, even though he had been on no quests, and forgot how many times I risked my life for them. But I had Annabeth, so life was okay.

I was going to meet her on the beach, when I saw almost the whole camp cheering and surrounding two people. I saw Jack, and a girl I couldn't see the features of. They were kissing, but Jack stopped to say "When are you going to break up with him, Annabeth? You know I love you much more than he does"

I froze when I heard her name. "Soon, Jack. Very soon." She said.
"Annabeth?" I called out. There was immediate silence throughout the campers. She turned and glared at me as tears were pouring down my face. "I'm done with you Percy. Jack is so much better than you."

I pretty much destroyed everything. 50 ft waves crashed on top of all of the campers, flooding the camp. An earthquake was making everyone fall over except for me. But mostly my new powers had me surrounded in a hurricane of ice. I launched ice spikes everywhere, and literally stormed from the beach.

After that, I ran as fast as I could to the Posiedon cabin, gathered my things, and left a note. (The note will be read later) I vowed never to return. For the only friends I had there were Clarrise and Nico, who knew the truth about Jack's tricks.
