3rd person pov: (yes I said that it would be Percy's pov the whole time, and it will mostly, but I'll mention when it changes.)

Trigger Warning!!!

Nico tumbled into the dark Hades cabin, immediately overwhelmed by shadows lurking in the darkness, whispering. He collapsed onto his bed, springs creaking as he did so. The shadows immediately raced toward him. One stood at the door of the bathroom, beckoning him.

There, on the marble counter of the sink, lied the blade, that evil, perfect release. A temptation, so bad but simply so good that he couldn't help but slowly stride towards it, reaching out as if he was simply a puppet being controlled. He supposed he was. Perhaps he was simply a puppet to the memories that haunted him; Leo, flying away but Nico knew he truly had not died; Bianca, so loving yet leaving him in the end; and most of all, Perseus. The moments with Annabeth, he guessed, but mostly the moments without her. The moments, those simply perfect moments, when it was just Percy and Nico, no Annabeth, and Nico could truly see what he could have.

But he couldn't have it. So he had told Percy, as serious as he could, that he "wasn't his type."
But Nico knew, sure as Tartarus, that Percy was exactly his type; his type was simply Perseus, and nothing else.

So as soon as Percy was free, away from Annabeth, Nico thought maybe, just maybe, Percy could-
No.
Percy was as straight as a wooden ruler, and nothing would change that. So again, Nico fell into those thoughts, the ones that destroyed him, while no one saw him fall...

His clammy, cold hand wrapped around the leather handle of the blade. He watched as the smallest drop of water fell from his face, landing on the clean, mirrored blade. A heavier tear fell, dripping down his cheek and onto his chin, rolling until it finally landed with an almost sickening plop on the blade as he thought of Percy. Another one, Bianca. A third. Leo. A fourth, his father. One, Percy. Two, Bianca. Three, Leo. Four, father. One, Percy, two, Bianca. One, two, three, four, five, Percy, Bianca, Leo, father, loneliness, men, heart, scars, pain, scar, heal, Percy, Bianca, Leo, father, alone, gay, break, scar, heal, hide. One, two, three, one, two, three! Rain. A storm. Bianca laughing. Thunder shaking the cabin. The whole world pouring down. The fire rushing up in a volcano. All rushing down in a spouting roar and riveting stream toward morning.

"I just don't know what to do anymore." Nico mumbled to himself as water fogged the blade, mixing with fresh blood as his thoughts raced, the sharp but somehow dulling pain of the blade digging into his skin. One, two, three, four, five. Percy, Bianca, Leo, his father, loneliness. Each new cut made to turn into a scar to be a representation of the pure pain that was life, just another distraction from the thoughts running in his head, overflowing.

Like fire rushing in a volcano.
But only in his dreams to be released.

Heyyyyyyy
Sorry for that sad chapter...
If you got confused, the different mentioned things were all things that Nico felt were painful in his life, so he drowned his emotional pain with physical.

Guys, please don't do this. I know a couple people that do, and believe me, it's not worth it. Maybe you think you're not good enough, because I certainly think I'm not good enough for my friends. A lot. But here's a quote that I put my own little twist on (the second part is my thoughts on the quote)

"Once you've hit rock bottom, there's nowhere to go but up."

The thing is, once you've hit rock bottom, the only people that can help you up are the ones that have already gone up, at the top of that dark hole; not the ones in the same situation as you. So find those friends who you think you aren't good enough for, and stick with them. 'Cuz in the end, they'll be the ones to help you up, out of the hole with a bottom of rock and stone.

Thank you all so much💕😘
