After meeting Jack I stayed at the park for a while just looking at the sky. I was rethinking my whole life. Every possible mistake was comming back to haunt me when I felt my phone vibrate. I had gotten a text from Jack.
"How about we get that coffee now? -jack" I read with a smile a on my face.
"Sure, where?" I immediately responded while walking back to my apartment.
"Text me your address and I'll come pick you up. :)" I kept thinking if this was a good idea and then I firgured why not. I don't have anybody else I can talk to right now. I can FaceTime but I need someone that I can see in person.
"Be there in 5 minutes." I read when I saw my phone light up. I didn't know what to wear and I was getting frustrated. Sure Jack was supposed to be just a friend but he is really cute. Was I already developing feelings for him? I barely know him and I have a crush on Jack. I must be crazy.
Jack's P.O.V
I couldn't stop thinking about Jenna after I left that bench in the park. I feel like there is some weird connection between us. Could she be "the one" that I will love forever? I'm getting way ahead of myself. I barely know her, all I know is that her name is Jenna Reynolds. That name kept popping up in my head until I finally reached her appartment. I walked to ring her doorbell but I felt nervous. This strange feeling was over powering me. I had butterflies in my stomach and I couldn't wait for her to walk out that door. I hope I don't mess things up and ruin my chances with her. I finally stopped standing at the bottom of the stairs and rang the doorbell.
"Hi Jack!" Jenna answered with the most beautiul smile I have seen
"Are you ready? I'm pretty sure you're going to like where we're going." I told her looking into her big and georgeous blue eyes.
"Yeah, let's go then." She closed and locked the door behind her. I didn't know what to do, I was freaking out. I rushed infront of her and opened the door of the car for her.
"Um, thanks Jack." she said with a confused tone in her voice. I shouldn't have sprinted to get to the car, she chuckled after telling me that. "So where are you taking me?"
"I'm taking you to the best coffee place I know, Starbucks." I said jokingly.
"Oh, sounds great then."
"No, I was kidding Jenna."
"You had me worried for a second." Jenna said while laughing.
"I want to keep it a surprise. You'll love it, I promise." I answered. I started the car and we drove off immediately. I really hope she likes where I'm taking her. This is the start of a new chapter in my life.
