The Drunken Brigde Builder

-Yumi's pov-

A drunk man came inside with a bottle of sake in his right hand. "I hate drunk people this is going to be such a drag", I said putting my hands behind my head. "hmm im already starting to like this one", Tazuan said getting ready to pull her in a bear hug. But saskue stopped him before he could "don't touch her", he said grabbing Tazuan hands. "hm someones got somethings up his ass", he said chuckling. "why do we always get the crazy people", naruto said sweatdropping scratching his head. "these brats are annoying especially the short one", Tazuan said taking a sip of sake.

"What did you say you-", naruto yelled getting cut off by kakashi-sensai covering up his mouth and holding him back. "Hello my names Kakashi Hakate im the leader of this squad", "these are the other squad members the short ones are Naruto Uzamaki", "Hm hey", he huffed. "The other short one is Yumi Nara", "nice to meet you", i greeted. "The pink haired one is Sakura Haruno", "hi there", she said smiling. "And the last one is Saskue Uchiha", "hmm", he grunted as he nodded his head.

-Naruto's pov- 

We were walking on our way to the boat in silence until i decided to break it "Who does this guy thing he is calling us brats", i said talking to Yumi. "Hey he speaks his mind but just dont listen to him its become easy for me to tune people out ", she said giggling. "I know half the time i talk to you, you never listen", "huh what did you say i wasn't listening", she said as i sweatdropped. "Is there anybody you ever listen to", "yea, saskue ",she said laughing. "Ofcourse everyone listens to him", i said with a anime vein on my head. "Hey don't feel bad he just looks my scary", she whispered Then i started laughing.

"Hey Yumi come here for second", saskue asked. "Okay saskue-kun, be back in a minute naruto", she said walking over to her new boyfriend. Sometimes i wish she would see that i liked her more than he does i maybe even love her. But I'll just have to brush it off i guess Sence shes with saskue. Sakura is even in a relationship now ugg what am i going to do. "Hey Sakura", "whats up naruto", she asked. "How do i get a girl to notice me", i asked in a shy voice. Then she had a huge smile on her face "you've come to the right person", she said.

-Saskue pov- 

We were walking for about an hour until me, kakashi-sensai, and Yumi notice something strange there was a puddle in the middle of the bride and it hadn't rain anytime soon. Just then chains came and wrapped around kakashi-sensai and ripped him to peices. I activaed my shiragan notice it was just a substitution, I guess Yumi did to be cause she wasn't scared and ran to the side to the bridge builder and did some type of protection jutsu. Then two ninja appeared and cut Naruto's hand. I notice that he was frozen so i ran over and kicked the ninja in the face. I turned around to naruto and said "whats wrong scary cat", and smiled.

I turned around and saw that they were coming back i pulled out a scroll throwing it in the air did the hand signs and grabbed the large shiruken and threw it at the ninja. They were able to dodge it i thenpulled it back towards him and rapped him on tree. One was getting ready to attack naruto until kakashi-sensai ran to his rescuse before i could. "sorry naruto i wouldnt think you would freeze lke that", he said, "good job sakura, yumi, and saskue", he said defating the ninja with one shot.

-Kakashi's pov-

"naruto we need to get you back to the village to treat that cut the blades weren't just regular blades the were coated in posion", "no... im fine lets finish the mission", he then pulled out a kunai and stabbed were the cut was getting rid of most of the posion." well that was a brave deed but we dont need you dying because of blood loss", "tazuan why were those ninja attacking you we were only instructed to protect you from theives and robbers if we would have know ninja were after you we would have made this a b-ranked mission", 'well its very simple to explain the village I come from has very little money and i couldnt afford a b-ranked mission", 'but if you leave me here ill die and my grandson who loves me so much will ne very upset and hate the lef village and ofcourse my daughter will be so depressed that she wouldnt ever forgive you all", 'fine but everyone keep your gard up ill be staying with the builder for a few weeks until he finishes the bridge", "right', the whole team said.

Soon we got to the boat ans sailed on to the other sie, "WOW THIS FOG IS SO THICK", naruto yelled. 'baka why do you think its so thick ... so we can stay hidden away from any enemies", yumi and sakura said in unisision hitting naruto in the head. "oww but did you guys really have to hit me", he said rubbing the two new bumps on his head."baka", the uchiha said under his breath.

-yumi's pov-

After I smacked naruto i went and sat next to saskue, he put his arm around me."how do you know the right things at the right time", "because i know how you think", he said. 'Well what am I thinging now", 'that i tottally kicked those ninja asses", "hmmm that and something else", 'wh-", i cut him off by kissing him by the time we were done we finally pulled up to the shore. "well that was fun but know this walking thing is going to be a drag", i told him. "come on lazy", he said grabing me and putting me on his back. "this is much better", i said. "yumi", "yea", " you that I....I.....love... you right".

I was shoked for a moment but then i smiled and said "i love you to", right then naruto had to ruin the moment and throw a kunai at a helpless little snow white bunny. I got off saskue's back "NARUTO", i said getting ready to hit him "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO A CUTE LITTLE ANIMAL", I said getting closer to him. 'N..N.. No yumi its not like that its just-", 'duck", kakashi-sensai said getting down. I was getting ready to get down until saskue tackled me down to the ground and cover over me. As a huge sword swung above our heads. We all stood up and got in defencive position ready for a attack. "Yumi, Saskue, Sakura, and Naruto protect the bridge builder", sensai told us. "right, you guys get around Tazuna ill put up a protection jutsu", i told them. "okay", we all surrounded the drunken brigde builder.

I made 5 quick hand signs and said ''ninja art water style: water protection seal jutsu", just then a seal of water came over us. "dont worry guys im the only person that can break this seal and no one can break throught. "if my dosent chakara runs out were done for i wont be able to keep this up long I already used up most of it durning the last time i did this jutsu", i thought to myself. I looked out the bubble i saw kakashi-sensai fighting a fimilar person. "is that zabuza-sensai huh havent changed one bit now weres haku", i thought looking around and spotted him in a tree "hm he have grown much like me the last time i seen him was when father sent me to be trained by zabuza-sensai to become a master swords man",i thought.

When i looked back at kakashi sensai he was getting ready to kill him with his chidori until haku came down and threw a needle at zabuza-sensai's neck. And put him in a death state but i know he's not really dead. Haku taught me all about the human artery sysem and there pressure points he didnt hit a vital spot so he's not dead i know that forsure. It seemed that wheni was lost in my train of thought haku came down and took him away. I then realesed my jutsu to see kakashi-sensai passed out. We all ran up to him and asked him whats wrong. "huh dont worry kids i just over used my shiragan haha", he said passing out. I began to feel by body getting heavy and collapsed right along with him, but before i could hit the floor i felt someone catch me.

I couldnt see who it was but i knew who it was "saskue", i said smiling before passing out.
