The chase

-Shikamaru's pov-

As we scattered into the woods I noticed markings on the trees."Traps so soon? How predictable.'' Looking to my back I warned the others.

Yumi's face looks as if she knows something....

"Neji what can you see?'' She ask from above us.

''Right.'' Making a handsign. ''Four ninja up ahead.''

"Okay so we know what we're up against." I said jumping to another branch.

"Shikamaru it's best if you let me lead for now." Yumi said focusing her attention forward.

"And why is that?" I asked.

She knitted her eyebrows. "Because, someone with an even larger chakra is heading this way." She replied throwing a Kunai bomb towards a shadow.

"Yumi what the hell?!?'' I yelled as the bomb went off, causing dust and chunks of wood to fly our way.

A shadow emerged from it's hiding place heading for Yumi.

"You bitch are you trying to fucking kill me?!?" Kabuto yelled grabbing her by her throat.

I stopped in my tracks. "YUMI!" I ran trying to reach her but she got loose and kick him in the chin.

"Go Oniichan! I'll handle this lunatic." She yelled forming hand signs.

I nodded my head turned my attention to the rest of the squad. ''Lets go!'' I yelled heading off.

"We can't just leave her can we?" Choji questioned.

"She's strong. besides didn't you listen to the plan Choji." I asked praying that Yumi doesn't loses her cool.

"Ehh ? sorry Shikamaru buddy I was five knuckles deep in my chips." He said rubbing the back of his head.

I sighed "everyone listen and listen good!" "The plan is simple Yumi which is cell one will fight off the first enemy if we get in contact. And once she succeed she goes and help retrieve Saskue. Cell 2,3,4,5 which are you Choji, Neji, Kiba, and Akamaru are going to fight off the remaining four. "And Neji our eyes will scope out any threat to us." "As our nosies Kiba and Akamaru will sniff out nearby chakra letting us know if we're getting closer to Saskue's sent."

"Our bronze which is you Choji. If we enconter an enemy sooner than expected you will fight them off." "And as for Naruto, Yumi, and I." I smirked. ''We have a promise to keep." I said as Naruto clutched his fist.

-Yumi's pov-

"Shadow stitching jutsu." I said as my shadow began to spread and became sharp to the touch only piercing Kabuto lightly.

I jumped back as he sent Kunai my way. "Not good enough." I whispered pulling out my scroll summoning my Katana.

"Hm, do you really think that you can get Saskue back?." He said engulfing his hand with chakra.

I transferred wind style chakra to the blade making it even for sharp to the touch. "Yes, I do!" I yelled transferring chakra to my feet dashing towards him.

He dodged my attack elbowing me in the back making me crash on the floor.

I don't wanna use it but I might have to...

I grabbed my left arm clutching my curse mark...

It hurts can he be around here somewhere?

I stood up getting a firm grip on my handle. "I'm not done with you." I said trying a dash once more.

"No luck!" He yelled trying to hit me with his chakra but I poofed away before he could leaving a stump in my place.

"Nice try." Kabuto yelled jumping away from the spot he was in just in time before the wired attached Kunai rained down. "Now where did you go?"

He looked towards the Kunai and then up in the trees. "Found you." He exclaimed throwing a Kunai.

I dodged it just in time before it could hit me. That is until Kabuto kicked me down.. I fell hitting branch after branch until I caught hold of one. "I can't quite." I whispered to myself. "Not until I get Saskue-kun back..." I struggled getting back on my feet.

Kabuto chuckled. "You know he's not coming back with you so why try it?" He finished throwing more Kunai.

Dodging more Kunai sent my way I put my katana in my mouth and pulled out shurekin.

"I hate brats." Kabuto claimed as a shurekin hit his arms causing blood to trickle down his arms.

I took the katana out my mouth and dashed towards him going for a strike to the lungs. But I was stopped by a fimilar blonde. "Deidara?" I asked confused.

"Don't touch Yumi-chan jackass...Un!" He yelled sending detonating spiders his way.

"Another one?" Kabuto smirked dodging yet another attack. "Hm, an akatuski helping a shinobi of the leaf how uncommon.... sorry but I must return back to Lord Orochimaru." Kabuto explained getting away.

I ran towards him trying to catch up. "Get back here!" I yelled as he got away.

Furry filled my body as I turned to Deidara. "Why are you here !" I yelled.

He simply walked towards me and caressed my check. "I still have my orders Yumi." He stated pooling away leavening clay in his place.

My eyes widened, what does that mean????

I fell to my knees and looked towards the ground.

-Flashback-

"Do you really think you could get him back?" Kabuto asked.

"Yes, I do!" I yelled grabbing the handle to my katana dashing towards him.

-Flashback over-

Sasuke would come back to me...

Wouldn't he?

I sat there still staring at the ground. Anger filled my body once again as I sat there and just waste time. "There's no time to waste." I stood up. "I will keep my promise Sakura." I transferred chakra to my feet jumping from branch to branch with a fast pace.

I clutched my shoulder where the curse mark was. The more angry u get the more it burns. I looked at it and was surprised at what I saw. "It's changing shape!?!" It was now purple and looked like three lighting bolts.

I heard mysterious voice from behind me. "Its called the ultimate curse mark my dear." A lizard said crawling towards me.

Caught by suprise I jumped back. "A lizard that can speak?" I pulled out a kunai. "Show your true form." I stood my guard.

The lizard chuckled and bowed its head. "As you wish." With a sudden puff of smoke a large manly figure appered. "My name Nastuke Urdu." He bowed placing a scroll on the tree branch we stood on.

"This is a message from my master. Nara, Yumi-sama." I looked at him closely.

A tall man with a muscular figure. And from the looks of it a top notch ninja, guessing since he slipped past without our village guard or me noticing him.

I clutched my Kunai even tighter than before. ""And who just might your master be?" I ask raising an eyebrow.

He just looked at me and changed back into a lizard. "You will know once you read the scroll." He stated walking away.

Once he was out of sight I grabbed the scroll putting it in my pouch. "I'll have to worry about this later." I said jumping from branch to branch trying to catch up with the others.

Sasuke....im coming for you teme!!
