✩POV: Killian✩
We woke up early and got ready for our trip ahead. I looked over at Liam who was packing, "I'm going to go use the bathroom, I'll be right back". He nodded and I left the room. I headed to the ladder, I looked around for Elena. Coast was clear. I knocked on the small door. It slid open and revealed a smiling girl. I smiled and climbed up the ladder. I looked around the room.
It was extremely small, definitely not a place for someone to live. "Does your friend know I am joining you?" She asked. I turned to look at her. I could see her clearer now that it was brighter. The light from the tiny window lit up the room. "He's my brother, and no he doesn't know about you joining us" I replied. She nodded, "So what's the plan?". I shrugged, "We'll leave on our horses...you'll follow close behind...once we are far enough away from the inn, I'll stop and introduce you to my brother". She nodded, "Ok".
I looked around there wasn't much in here, just a bed and a pile of clothes. "What are you bringing with you?" I asked. She followed my gaze to her bed, "I don't really have anything to bring, so I'm just gonna bring an extra dress and some food". I nodded, "I'll see you a little bit, I have to go before they suspect something". She nodded and I climbed back down the ladder.
I went back inside the room to find Liam all packed and ready. "There you are! Let's get going!" He said stepped towards the door. I nodded and followed him downstairs. We walked up to the desk where Elena was sitting at, reading. She looked up and smiled, "Leaving?". Liam nodded, "Thank you very much for letting us stay the night". She smiled and Liam handed her the key. "Have a safe journey!" She said as she took the key. "Thank you" Liam said with a smile before we turned and left.
We packed the horses and mounted. I looked to see the girl hiding at the side of the inn. I nodded and she nodded back. "Let's go slow, brother...I'm still a bit tired" I called out. He groaned, "Fine, but don't go too slow". I nodded and we began our journey. I would glance at Emma every one in a while to make sure she was keeping up.
Once I noticed we were far enough from the inn I looked up at Liam, "Liam, stop!". He stopped and turned to face me, "What's wrong?". I took a deep breath in, "There's something I haven't told you". His face grew serious, "What is it?". I sighed, "While we were at the inn, I met a girl...the lady at the inn kept her locked in the attic for years! So I offered for her to join us and see the world with us". Liam's eyes grew wide, "You did what?!...do you know how crazy that is? We aren't even going to see the world, we are on the run from the king because we got blamed!".
"But I had to help her, I wanted to help her" I said defending myself. He shook his head, "Where is this girl?". I turned and spotted the girl hiding in the woods. I gestured for her to come. She slowly walked over. Liam saw her and sighed, "Hi, I'm very sorry for what my brother has done". The girl smiled, "It's ok, I wanted to leave...I've been locked there for 28 years". Liam sighed, "I appreciate your generosity, what is your name?". "Swan, Emma Swan" she said hesitantly.
"Well Emma, I hope you understand that we aren't going anywhere special...we are going to a small village nearby to restart our lives, your welcome to join us". Emma nodded, "I understand". Liam turned to me, "Help her get on the horse with you". I nodded and turned to Emma. She held her hand out and I pulled her up. She got on and sat behind me. I turned my head towards her, "You need to wrap your arms around my waist". "What? Why?" She asked scared.
I chuckled, "So you don't fall and get hurt". She let out a sigh of relief, "Oh, ok". I felt her wrap her arms around my waist. I gave her one last chuckle before I rode off, following Liam.

We finally reached the village. Liam and I stopped the horses and looked ahead. "We are staying at a friends house" Liam said as he examined the area. Killian nodded, "Which friend?". Liam chuckled, "Just follow me".
