Underworld Palace, guard tower

I awoke to the sounds of hammering and hissing. I looked outside the cell window and saw that the skeleton Armorers were busy in the forges again. As I went to sit back down on the bed a skeletal NYPD officer came and unlocked the door with a message written on a scrap of paper saying, “Come to the Dining hall and have breakfast with me so we can discuss your decision.” I started to glow again, but this time when the glow faded I was sitting in a high back chair at the end of a long dark wooden table. It looked strangely like a mix of Oak and Pine.

"Why must you keep doing the glow…... thing?" I asked

"Because it's quicker than having you walk and waste my time," Hades replied.

"Well it never lets me see any of the castle. If I'm going to lead an army I need to know the layout of the castle to find the best place to train them."

"I will decide where the training is to take place and you will you will be able to walk after your decision is made. If you learn the layout of the castle you might escape and tell my brothers how best to attack me and win."

"Well I have made my decision and I will lead your armies but only if you make me a minor god of my choosing. I will also require the God of Forges, Hephaestus, to make me new armour and a new blade for me to go to war with."

"I will contact Hephaestus and I will call on the council of gods to elect whether you can have the position of minor god. But it will take a few weeks."

I realised that I hadn't touched my plate, but I still felt like I had just eaten an excellent 3 course meal. I saw the glow start again and as I was engulfed in gold, I heard Hades yelling at one of the Skeletal Butlers to fetch Hermes, God of messengers.
