Me, Maka, Kid and Black Star all took the same job. We had to go to the city and track down 8 Kishins and find out why there getting pulled there. Me and Luca were driving there on our bike.
Soul and Maka had their motorcycle. Kid was on a skateboard with Liz and Patty in weapon form. Black Star was running beside us, Tsubaki in chain scythe form.
We were close to the city. There was a dark vibe coming from it and it seems Maka sensed it too. She looked over at me and we nodded to each other.
As we got closer, I can see a lot of people out. I was about to say something, but then everyone ran inside. The sun was close to setting.
I heard a blood-curling scream, that shook me to my bones. Coming from one, the sound inhuman. But, coming from many, it sounded abdominal. It was the worst scream I've ever heard. It sound like there was more then 8. More like 18. Everyone, but Luca and Soul covered there ears. I put my hands over Luca's ears and dealt with the scream. The scream was loud enough to make your ears bleed if you got in the city.
Then, it stopped. Not like it gradually got softer, just completely cut off. I took my hands off Luca and pulled out a mirror. I called Death. "Hello." He answered. "Ah, Reaper, how's the mission going?"
"You lied to us. There sure as hell not just 8 Kishin's here. There's mo-." Before I could finish, the screaming started again. We finally made it into the city. "Send more people!" I yelled at the mirror. I ended the call and put in my pocket. "Sounds like there in the center of the city." We stopped the bikes and the 2 scythes changed.
"We should split up." Black Star said.
"Are you stupid?" Maka hit Black Star in the head.
"I agree with Black Star." I said. Maka whirled around and looked at me. "If we stay together, we'd either get in each others way or scare off the Kishin. If we are smaller then we can fight them and get this done faster. Plus it's easier to corner us if we are in a large group."
Maka sighed. "I'm going with Reaper. You two go together."
"Wait," Black Star said. "Why do you get to choose the teams?"
"Because I'm the leader." Maka said. "Ok, Kid, you guys go to the right and we'll go to the left. We'll meet at the other side of town and go in the center after. If we don't meet up, keep going around until you find the other."
"What if your not on the outside?" Kid asked.
"Then go to the center." We all nodded to each other and went in our own directions.
