Waking up, Saturday morning, was hard for me. It felt like a hangover but it didn't feel like that at all. I was really hungry, I had a headache, and I just didn't want to move.
"Good morning sleepy head," Calum says entering the room I was sleeping in.
"Morning," I say, stretching. "What time is it?" I ask, too lazy to check my phone.
"10:30," He says touching all the little trinkets on my dresser.
"Shit," I said to myself, sitting up. I had remembered I wanted to go to the store to buy something for Layna's birthday before she got back home from work.
"Isssss everything alright?" He asks.
"Yeah I just wanted to run some errands before Layna got home," I rub my head, getting out of bed.
"She said she's gonna go to Michael's after to work. They said they were going Go-Karting I think, so you'll have extra time," He smiled walking up to me and hugging me.
Me and Cal have gotten really close since I had people tell me what happened, so I felt closer to him, rather than him being a stranger.
He kissed me on the head as he hugged me, and exited the room so I could get dressed and ready.
I was wanting to get Layna some new band tees and hair dye, and take her out for dinner, but I assume Michael would use all the hair dye. I shrug and lace up my shoes.
"Bye Cal!" I say, rushing out the door and waving to him. He waves back and smiles as he watches me run around.
Once at the mall, I decide to treat myself to some chipotle. I don't want to seem basic, but chipotle is actually fucking good.
"Hey, may we sit down here?" I hear as I look up to see a tall blonde boy with a lip ring, dressed in black from head to toe, and a girl by his side, with long dirty blonde hair.
"Uh, um, okay? I guess," I say, very confused.
"We're sorry, it's just that you seemed like a cool person, considering you are wearing an All Time Low shirt. We love them," The girl said.
I become a little less confused and awkward.
"I'm Cassidy, and this is Luke," She says as Luke nods and smiles.
"I'm Sky. So you guys like All Time Low? I went to one of their concerts and Jack practically held my hand!" I say, remembering back to that day.
"One time Alex winked at me!" Cassidy says excitedly.
Luke frowns, "I've never been to a concert before."
"Hey, why don't we walk around, and we can talk some more," I suggest, because I was done with my food.
They nod and we walk around after I had dumped my left overs in the trash can.
"Today is my best friends' birthday, so I want to get her some band tees at Hot Topic, and some hair dye," I smile as we turn into the store.
Once I had gotten everything I had wanted for Layna at the store, I found out that Cassidy and Luke were pretty cool, so we all exchanged numbers.
"We should hang out sometime, and y'all can meet Layna and her boyfriend, Michael."
They agree and I wave as they left together. I watched and saw Luke slip his hand in Cassidy's. It was cute honestly. I wonder if me and Calum were like that.
That was hard though. Socializing. I made new friends, like when does that happen? I think I played it well though.
I totally played that well.
