We had finally landed here, at the boarding school. Many people arrived in style because it was something the elite did. It was kind of to show your wealth and your background, some people came by limo some by their favourite and most expensive cars, some came by other strange types of transport, and I mean common a chariot? That’s just over doing it a tiny bit.

We, however came by the royal helicopter and landed right in the middle of the entrance. Everyone cleared to the sides and bowed as we arrive. Being a royal did have its moments, I knew Xavier didn’t really care about this superficial things, however Nathanial and Jacob enjoyed the attention. Me? Honestly I don't mind it. I'm kind of use to the weird behaviour of people around me. Well, anyone else not use to being around royals would find it weird.

"Common Rain, let's go." Xavier smiled gently at me.

"Fine, let's start this thing." I said back smiling at my three brothers. The helicopter's door opened for us as we walked down the stairs, heads still bowed. We removed our shades together and smiled. We started walking into the building and the students, teachers, and everyone in our presence was released from this spell. I always wondered how that worked.

"This year should be good" Jacob and Nathanial said in sync.

"Let's get our stuff to our rooms, if they are not here yet. Mum said she was going to sort it out." Xavier said.

"I hope we are in the same dorm again this year. Last year was awesome." I said voicing my thoughts. It was better to be in a dorm together and close. It was the way that my brothers and I found it best. We were just better energy all together. I use the term dorm lightly; it was more of an apartment. The campus is big so we had enough space in the apartment for us to have our own individual points as well as communal points.  

"I think the 'rents called in a favour… or their advisors." Nathanial said smiling at me.

"Common let's get out keys I'm tired from the flight." I said linking arms with Xavier and pulling him in the direction of the front desk. There was a woman at the front desk. We did not need to tell her our names but we did anyway.

"Hello miss, we are here to sign in and get our packs for the year." Xavier said smiling charmingly. The woman swallowed nervously and looked for our names.

"Oh here they are" she laughed nervously." Xavier, Nathanial, Jacob and Emerald Avalon-Rain." She handed us our packs in that order.  "There are copies of your dorm keys in each pack, if you lose them come here and we can sort it out. Your timetable and everything you need is in there."

"Thank you." We said and smiled at her in sync.

"Are you ready for tomorrow?" Xavier asked me.

"For my birthday or to meet my mate?"

"Meeting your mate." He said smiling at me.

"Oh Xavier, I have been ready for this moment since I was 6. I seriously cannot wait." I said with a grin on my face.

"I wish I could say the same." He muttered. I stopped us walking and hugged him.

"She will love you Xavier. I hope you realise that no matter you will love her and never let her go. Having a mate is having the other half of your soul, she is yours and you are hers. You see how our fathers look at mother. When they cannot take their eyes off each other because the love between them is so strong… that’s what it will be like for you. You will treat her with utmost respect because you love her. And she will see beyond your status as future king. She will love you for you." I said kissing his cheeks.
