THUD! Jesse sprang awake to the sound of zombies banging at the door. Despite the fact that it was still the middle of the night, Jesse felt wide awake.

CRASH! To Jesse's terror, a horde of zombies staggered into the room with a groan. To make matters worse, Jesse's items were all stolen, so she couldn't fight them off.

The sound of the zombies must have woken Olivia up, too.

"What's going on, Jesse?" she asked.

"These zombies broke the door down!" replied Jesse.

"We have to get out of here! Let's wake the others up!" That wouldn't be necessary, though because Lukas and Axel were already scurrying down the ladder to see what all the noise was about.

"Guys, what are you doing awake? It's like the middle of the- oh, junk!" said Axel, suddenly realizing what was going on.

"Everyone! Up the ladder! Go!" Lukas exclaimed. Everyone hastily began climbing with Jesse in the back. She turned around and saw Petra slowly standing up with quivering legs.

"Hold on, Petra!" Jesse yelled as she jumped off the ladder and tried to run across the room. A zombie punched Jesse in the face, but she ignored the pain as she grabbed Petra.

"Jesse! Carful!" Petra yelled. They made it up the ladder and into the second room where everyone else was waiting.

"Are you okay?" asked Axel.

"Yeah, we're fine," said Jesse. Petra hopped over to the side of the room where she laid down. Everyone else laid down as well. Jesse tried to fall asleep, but the grumbling of the zombies downstairs kept her awake. She tossed and turned unable to get comfortable. She then remembered something that always seems to make her fall asleep. She closed her eyes and began to pray.

Hey, God. It's been a while. Sorry about that. I've just been kind of distracted with this whole mission and all. I just wanted to ask if you could, like, help us to not all fall apart before we defeat Herobrine. It feels like that's what's happening right now, though. Petra's ankle is broken, so she can't really move around too well. Although, you probably already knew that. So, please help us with that. Also, I wanted to ask if you could help Lukas out a little. Last night he had a terrible nightmare because we got kicked out of his own group. Thanks! Amen.

Jesse woke up the next morning at the same time as everyone else. The zombies were all gone, so it was safe to climb down. They climbed down and left their little house.

There were a couple spiders roaming the area as everyone walked through the terrain. The sun was shining and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Jesse felt a little sleepy, but it was probably just because she had trouble falling asleep.

"Guys?" asked Olivia, "where do we go now? The hill that the waterfall runs down is too steep to climb up, but Herobrine is still up there!"

"We'll just have to look for another way up," said Petra.

"Petra, you stay here, the rest of us will go look around," said Jesse.

"No, I'm coming with you. I don't want to just sit here without doing anything to help," protested Petra.

"If you come with us looking, you'll just hurt yourself more. We'll just find a way up and then come back and get you."

Petra, without saying anything, sat down in the grass. Everyone else separated to try to find a way up. Jesse tried walking around the edge of the hill to see if there was a less steep part. Despite how troublesome the rain was before, Jesse strongly wished for it now. She was sweating intensely and felt really hot.

"Hey, guys! I found a way up!" called Lukas. Everyone ran over to where he stood to see what it was. Jesse saw that the hill started to get more flat along the end.

"Let's go get Petra," Jesse said. The group walked back toward her. She was sitting on the ground absentmindedly fiddling with a blade of grass.

"Hey, how are you doing, Petra?" asked Lukas.

"Eh, I'm holding up," she responded.

"We found a way up the hill," said Olivia.

Petra didn't respond, she just tried to stand up. With a little help from Jesse, Petra was able to safely make it up the hill along with everyone else.

When they reached the top, Jesse saw the river that Herobrine pushed them into.

Wow, she thought, it looks way more peaceful that it really it! The water gracefully flowed up and around each stone. The tranquility soothed Jesse's nerves, but she still felt kind of tired and hot.

"Jesse?" asked Olivia, "Are you feeling well? Your cheeks are really red!"

"They are?" asked Jesse, pretending she didn't know.

"Yeah, and you've got bags under your eyes," added Axel.

"It might just be because I had some difficulty falling asleep last night,"

Olivia stepped up and felt Jesse's forehead.

"You're burning up, Jesse! I think you're sick!"

Great. More problems, thought Jesse.
