Third Poem

She gazes across the room

And sees an empty chair

It rocks back and forth

But nobody’s there

She crawls into bed

And wraps herself warm

She sleeps all alone

Because her heart is torn

She wanders around the kitchen

And sees the memories

Of how they were so happy

And what was left to be

She strolls in the park

Mourn following her

And sees happy couples

Oh, how it’s hurting her

She sets up the tree

In bright glowing lights

But that doesn’t change

Of how heart wants to fight

She stands and waits

Under the mistletoe

Waiting for your kiss

But you never show

She lies in bed

Waiting for death to come

And in a fast beat

Her hearts stops all in one
