I am so excited to write this book. It came into my head yesterday morning and i started it.

I don't know whether anyone will like it or not but i am adamant to continue writing this one.
My chapters are short as i am not good at bringing my thoughts into words.
But i'll try to elongate them.
Your cooperation is required.

This chapter is dedicated to @Girlwithpearl for the story 'His silence is his Pride'.

Mayra's POV:

~~~~She is the only child of her deceased parents, the daughter of Namra and Aamir, Mayra Aamir.
Her mother died giving birth to her and his father died of heart attack after 2 years of her mother's death, leaving Mayra alone in this cruel world.
She was so small when they died so she doesn't have any memory of them.
But deep inside she finds herself alone, lonely.~~~~
I came out of my room to have brunch.
My housemaid beamed a smile at me. I returned her gesture with smile.
' Assalamualaikum Mayra, my habibti.' She greeted me whilst giving me the foodplate. Oops! I forgot the reply to her greeting. She will get disappointed.
' Nano.. Good morning. But i'm sorry , i again forgot the reply to your greeting.' I said making a puppy face and filling my mouth with the food.
My housemaid was a woman in her mid 50s and was working in the house from many years. I am really close to her since my childhood.
The housemaid was kind and considerate towards me. I used to call her Nano. She was a practicing muslim lady.
~~~~It was due to Allah's mercy and her influence that Mayra wears a headscarf and is not ignorant when nano use to taught her about Islam. She has taught Mayra sunnah of the Prophet .~~~~~

The maid is always coaxing me to offer salah and read the Quran.

But I always shrugged it off saying that when I'll feel like doing it, I will do..

'Waalaikumsalam'. The maid answered me.' But next time don't forget it.' The maid said putting a hand on her hips.
