Rosethorn woke to the shrill voices of Ashkit, Firekit, Emberkit, and Moonfeathers two new kits, Specklekit and Bramblekit. She listened for a while, listening the three older kits teach the two new ones aout "moss ball". Then a ball of moss ht her in the eye, she bit back a hiss of pain. She tried to purr and carried the ball back to the kits. "here." she mewed, dropping it at their feet. Then she padded toward the medicine cat den, her eye sore and itching. "Hey Icestep, do you have anything for my eye? The kit threw a moss ball into then den and it must have had a thorn in it." She asked. Stormwater padded into the clearing, probably to check the moss for thorns before a kit was hurt. Rosethorn's icy pelted brother retrieved a herb, then trickled the juice into her eye, after many tries to keep it open. "That was celadine, to strengthen eyes." He mumbled while washing his paws in a stream. "Just don't go poking things into your eye again." He joked. She purred, rubbing under his chin, then flicked her tail in thanks. She padded out of the den, looking for Brightpaw, for battle practice with his sister, because they were the only apprentices at the moment. "Brightpaw, Silverpaw, come with me and we'll find Rosethorn." She heard Greystone say to the apprentices, for he was Silverpaw's mentor. She swept around the corner, mewing hello to Greystone, then said, "How about battle practice..." She started, then Silverpaw interrupted, "We were going to do that anyways." The silver she-cat mouthed off to Rosethorn. The she-warrior cuffed her. "As I was saying, how about battle practice in the lake?" For extra strategy, she thought. They nodded, Silverpaw looking ashamed. Rosethorn flicked her tail over he younger cat's ear. "Just don't do it again." She mewed. "Ok, Rosethorn." Declared the silver apprentice. They set off, pelts barely visible through the marsh grass. As they reached the lake, Greystone stiffened, "Hush!" They stopped under a bush. Rosethorn saw the apprentice's ears stretching, and she did the same. "We have to hurry, then put the remains on our territory to blame RiverClan." It was Thornstripe of WindCan. The brown and white warrior was a trouble maker. She flicked her tail so everyone would stay low, and peeked her head out of the bush. The cats were Thornstripe, Ravenpelt, and Moonshadow. They were outnumbered. Rosethorn flicked her ears and tail, and she counted to three. Letting out a fierce battle cry, she leapt upon the closest warrior, Ravenpelt, and sank her teeth into his shoulder. He let out a wail and flipped over, crushing her. She went limp and took shallow breathes. "Not tricking me, fish breath." She got her grip back and squeezed out from under him, and leapt on top, raking his belly. "Get a good grip, were taking them to camp." She flicked her tail to Greystone, and nodded. Se scored her claws down the black cat's side, and he thrashed and twisted his head up, clearing his scruff. She grabbed his neck, her teeth meeting, and hauled him up, almost falling under he bigger tom's weight. She glanced around, seeing all other cats trapped. Moonshadow, a small brown and grey she-cat, was trapped by the apprentices. The other tom was trapped by Greystone, and they carried/dragged the prisoners to camp. As they reached the clearing, they met Timberstar, and he called a meeting as they got back. Nothing about the meeting was too important, but after, they were scolded, and sent back to their home. "Mange-pelts." Hissed Brightpaw after them.
