CHAPTER FOUR

Jack wakes me up for school. But my fever is back again so I can't go to school or else I will be sharing a room with mom in the hospital... And we dont want that.

"Jack. I am not feeling well." I said. "Alright. Let's skip school today." he said while smiling really wide. "Are you sure." I ask questioning my entire existence, Jack is not the kind of skipping school. He does it in an extreme way. He goes to school and skips classes. So this is new.

"Yeah. I am sure. I will be experiencing something new today." He said. "Alright then! Let's go back to sleep." I said while yawning. "Great idea Nathan." Jack said and he went back to the guest room.

Its 11:00 am now we both wake up because we are hungry....obviously. I call dad to inform him about me skipping school today. Dad picks the call and says "Hey Nathan. How are you honey?" "My fever is back, but it's nothing to worry about. I just did not go to school today." I said. "Oh. It's ok dear. Take some rest ok. Bye." he said. "Alright dad bye." and the call was ended.

I go to the kitchen to make me and Jack a sandwhich and that's when it hit me. We have no groceries. This is a horror story for me and Jack and Sam. We need to do a food shopping.

But now is the worst time to buy food because we are both so hungry we will literally end up buying the entire food shelf. But as I always say "When you gotta go, you gotta go."

"Jack we need to go buy food. Because there is no food here." I said. "No food. THAT IS THE WORST POSSIBLE THING TO HAPPEN." he said.

"So what are we waiting for. Let's go." and we both put on our shoes and run out the door.

We go inside the grocery and just walk towards the food section without taking the basket. So we both take a turn take a basket and then go back to the food section.

We are so hungry we legit bought almost the whole food section. We divided the bill, paid the bill and rush home. As soon as we reach home the home landline starts ringing. Jack picks it up and then he put the phone on speaker. The person who called is Sam.

"I am so mad at you guys." said a very angry Sam through the phone. "What did we do now?" asked Jack like a little kid. "What have you done. WHAT HAVE YOU FREAKING DONE. YOU BOTH IDIOTS SKIPPED SCHOOL AND LEFT ME ALONE TO SURVIVE SCHOOL. HOW COULD YOU?" Sam yelled.

"Calm down Samantha." I said. "Oh don't call me Samantha when I am already pissed off at the both of you. Now I need an explanantion. Right. Now." Sam said. "Nathan fell sick. So we both skipped school today." Jack explained.

"You guys are idiots. Why didn't you say so." Sam said. "We were about to but we couldn't because you decided to become super saiyan." Jack said.

"Oops. Sorry." Sam apologized. "It's ok. Why don't you come over Sam." I said. "You don't have any problem?" Sam asked. "Yeah. I don't." I replied. "Alright then. I will be there in 10. Bye" and she hung up.

So the trio is now together in my house right now. And honestly I kind of missed this. I regret the desicion of shutting them out. But I am happy that I am back with them. Me, Sam and Jack were having the best time of our life... Until dad called.

I picked the call and dad said "Nathan. Come over to the hospital. Your mom..."
