Long Time No See (5SOS)

Chapter 22- I don't believe you.

Brooke's P.O.V.

After Michael gave us the big news, we stayed up watching movies. I was sharing a couch with Zach, while Luke S and Luke H where sharing a couch. After a couple of minutes everyone was alseep, but me. I got bored and decided to get a glass of water. I made my way into the kitchen getting a glass from the top of the cupboard. One thing about the Hemmings house hold was that everyone was super tall except for Liz, so all the glasses where right at the top. Luckily there was a glass on the bottom shelf. I poured myself some water and sat at the Island.

After sitting at the Island drinking some water, when I saw a shadow moving. The shadow came closer towards me. It was a very sleep Calum. He walk straight to the fridge not noticing me at all. He open the fridge looking through it. "Calum is everything alright there?" I whispered not wanting to startle him. He turned around to look at me. "Brooke, I didn't see you there. What are you doing up?" He said rubbing his eyes. He took out a bottle of water and made his way to the Island sitting at the chair in front of me. " I couldn't sleep and got bored... so I decided to get a glass of water." I said looking down.

As soon as I lifted my head to look at him he dropped his head not making eye contact. "Cal, what's going on with you lately? You haven't been yourself lately." I asked. He still looking at his hands. " I don't know if I can tell you. I want to but... I just don't know." He said putting his head in his hands. "Cal you know you can always tell me Anything." I said reaching over to him, putting my hand in this arm. "I know I just don't know if you will believe me if I tell you." He said finally looking up. "Try me." I said with a smile on my face. He took a deep breath before talking again. "Remember when you were dancing with Quinn and Khanya, and I went to find the others. I was walking around when I saw Mark and another girl making out in the corner." He said sadly. When those words left his mouth ,my jaw dropped. I didn't know what do think. This was the second time somebody has tried to break Mark and I apart. "I'm sorry Brooke." He said reaching his hand out across the table, holding my hand. I pulled away. "How do I know your not lying to me? Do you have proof, because if you do I'd like to see it...but of you don't I'm sorry but I don't believe you." I said getting angry. I got up taking my glass in hand, putting it in the sink. I turn back to see Calum looking at me with a unreadable look. "Listen Brooke I'm not lying to you I just don't want you to get hurt." He said grabbing my arm. "I know you don't want me to be hurt but your lying to me. I know you don't like him." I said pulling my arm back slowly.

"Okay but just remember I warned you, but I'll be here if you need to." He said leaving the kitchen. I sat back at the Island think what he had just said. 'How do I know hes telling me the truth?' I thought to myself, putting my hands on my head. After a while I got up making my way back to the couch I was sharing with Zach. I lay down, pulling the blank to get some before my eyes began to get heavy.

I woke up to talking, laughing and bright light. "Come on Luke get back inside before she wakes up." I head somebody whisper. When I heard a door shut, which got me on my feet. I turn towards the door to see Luke S, Zach, Storm, Michael and Quinn all laughing at me, locking me out. I made my way toward the door and they stayed there laughing. When I mouth "I fucking hate you guys." I said pouting. They just carried on laughing and Storm mouthed "We love you." I shook my head and turned to see if I could get in the house another way.

I walked to the back door to see if it was open. I reached out for the door knob and turned it but it was locked. I looked around to see it there where any other doors, but with my luck there weren't any.

I walked back to my couch I had been sleeping in, that everyone had carried me out in and sat down. I looked to see if I could find my phone at least, but I remembered I put it on the table in the lounge. Great know I've got nothing to keep me busy! I just sat and looked at the clouds in the sky. After what felt like an hour of being outside, I went and knocked at the sliding door. Soon Ashton came to the door looking at me confused. "Don't just stand there let me in!" I yelled. He unlock the door and I walk in. "Why the he'll where you outside?" He asked. I went to say something when Storm ran to the door. "Don't let Brooke- I guess I was a little late." She said taking a step back as I walked closer to her. "Why the hell was that for! Locking me outside! You should've just have given me my phone at least. But no I sat outside looking at the dam clouds! The clouds!" I yelled annoyed. She started to laugh and I was confused. I shook my head and made my ways to the others in the lounge. I saw Michael, Luke, Zach and Quinn sitting on the couch. I made my towards them and I just stopped in front of them. "You guys and Storm better watch your backs I will get you back for this." I said evily. I turned to walk back but knowing me on crutches I kind tripped. I heard giggles and I turn back at them and gave then a dirt look. I really have to get them back well but how? I grabbed my phone on my table to see the time it was 10:30 a.m. So I decide to say goodbye and go see Mark. I said I would come back later when the boys where going to talk to One direction about the up coming tour. I made my way out th door and walked to Storm's house it wasn't to far from Luke or mine it was fairly close. I stopped at my house quickly having a quick shower and getting into fresh clothes and headed of to see Mark.
