Chapter 19 - Kisses

Brooke's P.O.V

The boys made there way off stage going back stage. I watched them make there way. I walked through the crowd back stage to where all the boys where. I walked to see Ashton kissing Storm, Quinn giving Michael a hug, Khanya giving Calum a hug and Luke standing all on his own. I ran towards him jumping on his back making him stumble back. "You were amazing Luke, I'm so proud of you and the boys." I whispered into his ear. He put me down and pulled me into a hug. "You guys were all amazing!" I said excitedly for all of them to hear me. They all made there way towards me and I gave them all a hug.

Storm was sitting on the couch looking through her phone. I made my way towards her. When I got to her I had a seat next to her. All of the others saw me going over to her and left the room for us to talk. I went onto my Instagram scrolling thought my new feed, when I saw Michaela (my cousin). Its been 6 months since I last saw her I really miss her. We never get to see each other, she lives all the way in the UK. I commented on her post, and told her I will Skype her soon on direct message. I was sitting next to Storm and didn't say a word until she finally broke the silence between us. "Brooke I'm sorry. I should have just been happy with you and Mark. But I know things you don't know about him, he's not a good person." Storm said with her head hanging low. "What do you know that I don't?" I asked getting angry. "I-I can't tell you." She said softly. "Why can't you tell me. You know I thought you would be okay with me dating Mark. I thought you were apologising and finally accepting me with Mark." I yelled. If she couldn't give me a reason to why I shouldn't be with him, How do I know that she was not telling me a lie?

By this point I was fuming. I could not face her any longer. I got up and made my way to the door. Before opening the door I turned to look at Storm. "You know if you were my real friend you would have just accepted Mark and I." I said sadly. She looked up and was about to talk when she just shook her head looking away. I open the door. Making my was back to the restaurant. I saw Calum and Luke watching me from the hall, I made my way towards them to get to the restaurant. "Brooke what's wrong?" Calum said walking towards me. I ignored him and carried on walking. I walked straight past them and I could hear them following me down the hall. I made my way into the restaurant to see Ashton, Zach, Michael and Luke S sitting at a table, in the corner of the room. I made my way to the table to see beers and Vodka on the table.

Luke Stanton P.O.V.

The boys and I were all sitting at the table chatting and having some drinks. When we saw Brooke making her way towards us. She looked upset and Luke H and Calum were following be hide her. As soon as she got the the table she grabbed my Vodka and down it. Ashton tried to pull the drink away from her but she wouldn't let go. As soon as she was done with mine she grabbed Ashton's beer doing the exact same thing. Calum quickly grabbed her after she had finished so she couldn't have anymore.

She tried to fight back but broke down into sobs. Everyone in the restaurant was staring. We picked up our drinks and took her back to the room behind the stage. As we made our way into the room we saw Storm sitting in the corner. She had red puffy eyes and was sniffling. She had been crying. Calum placed Brooke on the couch and tried to call her down. Ash saw Storm in the corner and made his way towards her leaning down, sitting next to her. As from Brooke she was still sobbing on the couch and would refuse to talk to anyone. The alcohol slowly took affect on Brooke and she started shaking. I took of my jacket placing it over her shoulders.

When she finally had calmed down she was sitting on the couch looking to the floor. She was gripping her stomach and got up quickly dropping my jacket making her way out the hall trying to find a bathroom. Luke and Calum quickly got up following closely behind her.

Luke Hemmings P.O.V.

We followed Brooke into the bathroom as she leaned over the toilet bowl getting sick. I quickly made my way towards Brooke taking her hair out of her face, rubbing her back. She was starting to look pale and couldn't keep anything down. Calum had gone to get her some water while I waited with her. She had finally got everything out of her system. She slowly moved to leaned against the wall trying to keep herself from falling. I sat next to her and she rested her head on my lap.

"Why is it always me something happens to? Why am I always the one who loses people? Why is it me who always ends up getting hurt?" She said tears growing in her eyes. "Its always my fault, why am I here if I keep screwing up?" She said breaking down again. "Hey don't say that, you deserve to be here, even if you screw up, people make mistakes Brooke." I said looking her on the eyes.

She looked back into my eyes and started to lean in. Our faces where centimeters away when Calum came in. Luke snap out of it Brooke's got a boyfriend, she's happy with him not you. "I brought you a bottle of water Brooke." He said handing it to her. "Thanks Cal." She said taking the bottle out of his hands. She opened the bottle taking a small sip, before having more. After she was re-hydrated, we made our way to the others. Brooke went in front of us walking to the restaurant while Cal and I stayed back talking.

"Hey mate what happened in there? She's got a boyfriend you know that right." He stated. I let out a long sigh looking at the floor. "I know it's just I love her and I don't like Mark. I want her to be safe and I want her by my side so I can protect her. But she's got a boyfriend." I said sadly. Calum nodded his head and we looked back to Brooke she stared running when she saw Mark sitting with the boys. He got up and she jumped into a hug placing his lips on hers. She looked so happy and kissed him back. I couldn't help but feel jealous seeing her with him.

Why couldn't it have been me...
