FlashBack

"Jon, I swear to cheese if you are pranking me again I won't hesitate to kick you in the nuts", I muttered. I was in high alert mode as I frantically looked around. I was at my little book shop I liked to come to often and the owner gave me a key to come in whenever I wanted since she trusted me. I was in here alone just browsing through the selections until I heard a dozen of noises coming from the back of the store.

In a dusty old book shop by yourself, what a dream come true. Not when you here mysterious noises though.

Two arms encircled my waist from behind before I felt myself swiftly tugged back to a muscular chest. I squeaked out on surprise before I heard a familiar boyish chuckle.

The idiot scared me half to death.

"What the hell Jonathon Moxley Good", I scolded fighting away from his embrace. He was such a childish dick. Still my bestfriend though.

"Oh come on, don't use my full name like that it makes me feel like a kid. Anyways I can't come and visit my best friend in the whole entire world?", he faked hurt making me laugh at his semi constipated look.

"Whatever, how did you know I was in here", I asked with a hand on my hip. He rubbed the back of his head before sighing.

"I saw you walking this way when I was at the corner store so I thought I would drop by and give you a gift for nationalbestfriends day", He laughed holding out something he had in his hand.

I forgot about today!? Damn I will have to give him his gift tomorrow.

It was a colorful birthday bag which was funny since it wasn't my birthday. It was small and cute. Meant to hold something tiny and fragile. I looked up at him and noticed a slight blush rise onto his cheeks. He was absolutely adorable. I took the bag from him greedily because come onwho doesn't like presents.

I ripped the tissue paper and looked inside the tiny bag.

"You can return it if ya like. Sorry if you don't like it, it was last minute and-".

"I love it!", I screamed running to him. He caught me and hugged me tightly deeply sighing. He seemed relieved that I liked it.

It was a book, not just any book though. A rare copy of my favorite oldie novel. Something you could only find in Germany. Since it was a Germany made book. I was surprised a run down city like Cinncinatti had it.

"How did you find this?", I asked tearing my eyes away from the book cover. His face turned to a different emotion. A sneaky one. Which made me very suspcious.

"I have my connections", he smirked opening the first page to reveal an autogragh from the author.

End of flashback

I sighed looking up from my scrapbook of old pictures. I recalled that story just by looking at the simple picture of Dean standing outside the book shop with the book He got me in hand. He had a careless face on and his shoulders seemed pulled back and straight.

Kind of determined looking if ya ask me.

I looked out over the city from the little window. This coffee shop had a great view but shitty coffee. I took a big gulp of the Frappe snd shuttered at the bitterness.

I'll drink it anything

The city was noisy and a bit odd for a Sunday morning. It was Memphis Tennessee so I would have imagined it to be quiet and suttle for Memphis but I was proven wrong when I heard a million curse words echo from below. I laughed to myself before closing the open window to the shop. I'm sure they wouldn't mind.
