Finally, We Meet Again

Ch.14

Dean(Jon) POV

Time to put 2014 to a close with a big New Years party with the co-workers. I was in a suit, somehow Roman got me to wear one and it just made me pissed. I don't like suits. Renee was supposed to help me get ready but she made up yet another excuse to not be able to see me before the party. 

*before party*

"You guys need to breakup", Roman came right out with the one thing I really didn't want to do. I don't like Renee that much. We've been *together* in her mind, but in my mind it was just a side thing to help me get full nights of sleep as well distract me. The 'L' word was already said from Renee last year yet I have yet to say it. I just couldn't since we lived kind of far from eachother. 

"Roman you know I can't do that", I sighed trying to tie this damn tie. I got frustrated and ended up ripping it. I heard Roman sigh and turn to grab one of his pre tied ties that was prepared by his wife for him. I wish I had that, someone to love and declare mine. I had Renee but not with her. A particular girl has been on my mind for 11 years.

"Dean, man, I said I would help find her for you. We just haven't had any luck. Look! I know you like playing with JoJo, she loves to play legos with you because you make her laugh so much. Why don't you go to my room and do that, take your mind of a few things", Roman offered grabbing his stuff and heading towards his room.

"No, I want to go tonight. Maybe I can make a new years resolution", I laughed grabbing my phone I barely use of the nightstand. I grabbed my wallet and followed Roman to his room.

Since 2014 was such a 'great' year, well not for the shield since we broke up, but otherwise. Hunter bought out a hotel's banquet area. We just had to book our own rooms. Everyone was here with their families.Seth was here with his girlfriend, yes we are still great friends. It's our job to follow the script and trust me he resisted not doing it at first. Roman an I encouraged him too since he would get fired if he didn't.

The Uso's were here with there kids and wives. The Divas were all dressed nicely and with there husbands and boyfriends. Every super star was here with their family. I saw everyone's kids in the little dance floor in the far corner away from all the adults. Dolph had his fuckbuddy of the night with him which was not amusing at all because he does that at every party.

I was with no one, until I spotted Renee across the room dancing like a maniac. She looked funny but cute. She was wearing huge heels that made her looked older than what she was actually. Her Alicia were going crazy until I stepped in. I pulled her towards me

"Hey, why couldn't you come to my room earlier?", I asked pulling her away from her friends. She fell into me a bit and started swaying. She was drunk already. 

"Because I wanted to hangout with my girlfirends!", She shouted over to the divas and they all laughed and nodded. I glared at each and every one of them not caring if their boyfriends saw. Paige was the only one that came to help me.

"Little Ms. Renee here spilled her heart out to us today, saying you weren't being a very good boyfriend. Now I'm not going to get in your relationship business but Dean or Jon or Dean whatever your called, you need to be more supportive", She said in a heavy British accent helping Renee to a chair.

"Bartender we need a few glasses of water over here", Paige waved over making the bartender look and nod.

"Paige, please stay out of it. I'm new to this relationship thing and I'm trying to get over my past but its hard to do that and have a good relationship", I said holding a glass of water in front of Renee urging her to take it.
