Finally, We Meet Again

Ch.27

Deans Pov

"Dean bro you need to get ready!", Roman yelled at me from the showers. I was still in my leather jacket and gym shoes. My DA shirt was on underneath still but I hadn't taped my wrists or at least laced up my boots.

"Its just Barrett I can beat him with one arm tied around my back", I rolled my eyes. I mean come on! It was Wade for gods sake. I mean nice guy but not to great in the ring.

Ever since the party I've been a bit out of it. Fuck it I've been confused for the past week. At first I saw her, I kissed her and I admitted my feelings again to her only to be pulled away into the crowd by Summer Rae. A leech in designer brands.

I mean sure I may have hooked up with her once but since then she's been upssessed. She saw the exchange me and Gwen had.
A special moment turned into destruction by her. For some stupid excuse she said apologized saying she thought I was somebody else.

Ever since then Gwen has vanished no one has saw her. Not even Renee or Paige. I asked Paige and she looked at me with sad eyes and plainly shook her head.

Ugh I haven't seen her in years and now she disappears again!

"Dean I'm fucking serious get yourself ready", Roman pointed a finger at me. I rolled my eyes and sighed over dramatically making Roman shake his head at me.

"Look I understand that Gwen may not be here right now but dude you both work for the same company. Its not like she disappeared forever again", Roman reasoned strapping on his vest. He was right I would see her again.

"Fine only because you said that and I feel like kicking some ass", I grunted grabbing the tape and beginning to wrap my wrists EXTRA tight.

"I'll see you later I need to head out for my face off with Brock. Need to go over a few lines", He said walking out the door. I decided to be a little smart ass.

"Don't mess up like ya did last time!", I shouted chuckling I heard Roman yell out in approval but never came back. Stick in the mud.

A knock on the door sounded and in came the 'scumbag'.

"Hey Dean ya got any extra black tape?",Seth asked looking around. I laughed a little at him. Always forgetting things.

"What? Did you forget your shoes too", I laughed tossing him the roll of black tape. He shook his head.

"Actually no ya smart ass", he laughed. We were still brothers in arms but we were told strictly to never be seen publicly with one another since we don't want to mess up the whole 'enemy' thing we got going on.

"See ya later Mox!", He called walking out the door. "Oops sorry yeah he's in there", I heard Seth say to someone outside the door. In walked Natalya? I never talk to her.

"Dean? I saw her", that's all she had to say for me to stand up and walk closer. "Where?", I hurridley asked.

"At the hotel she should be here by now", Nattie reassured me. I walked passed her and into the hallways of the backstage area. I looked around for what felt like and hour but came up with nothing.

Until I finally decided to be smart and go to the Gorilla. The divas match was going on and if she was here then maybe she would be going out there now.

Opening the black curtain I walked in to see Vince and Hunter with headsets on listening in to the show and watching something on the computers. Steph was grinning at the monitor watching the feud between Paige and Nikki Bella lay out. I noticed the end of the match was nearing 

A jumping figure caught my attention. Her back was turned toward me and she had a a long black infused with red trench coat on her bouncing as she jumped. her hair looked styled in away to make it kinda creepy, but attractive... her hair looked familiar. That golden brown seemed to standout to me. Red streaks running throughout it.

I caught a glimpse at her ring gear to see that she had a muscle tee on and the regular spandex shorts that all the divas wear. I caught a glimpse at the lettering that was printed across her shirt.

'Lethal Anarchy'

Gwen!

"Gwen!", I called.The figure turned confirming my theory. Her blue eyes were dark with emotion and mischievousness. Her face contorted with an evil smirk and feature dark and pale. She was in character and ready for a fight. The only thing was the little smile she flashed me before I heard music play and a sound guy signal to her that it was time for her to go out. She took a huge breath before she headed out.

I stumbled to where Stephanie was standing and watched the monitor. The crowd was loudest I've heard them all night. everyone was on there feet with excitement. She was talking to the ring her coat cascading from behind. her face paint looked amazing and her character was well thought out. 

My bestfriend. My love was here with me in the same company wrestling in the same ring for the first time in 11 years. The girls in the ring both watched her like hawks but Gwen immediately attacked Brie and distracted Nikki. While the Reff was side tracked by the commotion on the outside of the ring Paige rolled up Nikki and got the 3 count but the reff wasn't paying attention. 

Gwen got in the ring and looked at both girls ignoring the reffs warnings to get out of the ring. Gwen slammed Nikki into the map and the bell rang signaling a disqualification. Paige had it and sprinted at Gwen earning a drop kick and bounced moonsault from the bottom rope. 

The crowd was going crazy and Gwen rolled out of the ring and sprinted up the ramp escaping from the mayhem she caused.

"She's amazing", Steph muttered smiling at the screen.

"I know", I smirked. I heard clapping to see Hunter giving a huge hug lifting Gwen off the ground.

"Now that's a diva looking to make a change in this division", He smiled. Gwen blushed and thanked him until her eyes met mine and I felt my stance falter. I opened my arms and I was met once again with a body. I wrapped my arms around her waist. She had her arms around my neck and she was laughing into my shoulder.

"Now can we actually talk without having any thing else interrupt us", She asked letting go and smiling up at me. I was so happy that I finally could actually hold her i just made a noise of approval as I looked at her in a dreamy state. I couldn't focus right I guess you could say.

"I mean uh of course Gweney", I aid poking her nose. She slapped my hand laughing.

"You guys are so cute", A voice muttered to the left. steph was smiling at us but she quickly went back to watching the triple threat that just aired. Gwen giggled before taking my arm and dragging me out of the gorilla. 

Oh how I've waited for this time to come
