It was far too dark in the forest that they faced. Jasper approached the front, standing by Tony. "What's the plan."
Tony looked through the trees. He whispered softly, trying not to let the others hear. They listened anyways. "I think it's dangerous, risky." He paused, watching dead leaves hit the ground. "But we're warriors. We were trained for this."
"You know, I think it's safe", Lucy uttered, smiling at Tony.
Macey unfolded her map drawn by her own hand. "This is where he should be."
Tony didn't look at Lucy, he was already sick of the sight of her face. "I think we'll be fine. We're warriors after all." He faced the group. "Let's try being heroes." The boys cheered while the girls clapped. From the sound, a big cat jumped Tony from behind. He already heard it sneak behind him, so he was lucky to dodge it as it fell into Jasper's blade. "As I was saying, let us show the beasts that they should fear us instead."
They marched into the dark woods. Together they were strong and brave. The deeper they got, the more a black mist settled in. White eyes from behind trees and bushes watched as they went by. Lucy and Wendy acted scared, but they were the real reason why the monsters were still. Deeper into the woods, the mist got thicker, making Jasper walk into a brick wall. In front of them, a brick cabin sat with a tower next to it. The door flew open, allowing the mist to enter.
"Cole, Macey, look inside for us", Tony ordered.
They did as told, but they could barely make anything out inside. "We can't tell what's inside from here", Macey said.
"Alright. Macey, Jason, Sam, Jasper, we're going in. I need your sight, smell, and sound just in case someone's trying to ambush us. Cole will protect the girls behind", Tony uttered. The look in his eyes made him look like a warrior about to enter combat. Yes, some warriors had fear, but he wasn't one of them. He was brave, strong, confident, but maybe not so smart. He was a leader, a hero if he could be. "Surround Macey just in case. We can't let her get hurt if something or someone attacks."
They all got into position. Jasper was in front with Tony. He used to have a Natural Power, but because of his curse he lost it. Being a werewolf gave him all the Natural Powers, but they only worked in form.
Slowly, they entered with the mist guiding them. Jasper knocked down some chairs, trying to see if anyone else but themselves would react. There was no sound. He found an ominous door that seemed to lead to the tower they saw. He approached it, but was startled when Cole and Brandy fell inside and the door slammed shut. "What the heck Cole!"
"The girls! They work for William", he said, getting to his feet.
"Jason, Jasper, get that door open", Tony ordered. He watched them use their strength to push it open, but every hit made the house shake, and the door seem stronger.
"It's no use Tony", Cole sighed. "William might be on the other side."
"Are we trapped", Brandy asked with a soft voice.
Tony's eyes let out sparks from the flame that surrounded them. "Not for long. Macey, open one of your bottles. Preferably the bottle where that magic beast hit me." Macey pulled out a bottle labeled 'Strength from Pain'. She was unable to pull the top off, so instead, she used her gauntlet to crush the class in her hand. The fire overwhelmed Tony, but he used it to push through the wall and door. With the extreme power, the cabin bursted with the hit. Half of it only remained, but the debris flew into the forest around them. Tony faced Lucy and Wendy. The seemed shocked, unsure how to react. "You lied", he growled. They couldn't react in time when Tony held them both in the ground. "William is a monster with no heart. He lives off of the livings' pain. He won't care if you girls disappear, he'll just find new ones to use." They softly cried, not knowing whether to believe him or not.
