The Camp

~Winter's POV~

I woke up not remembering anything that happened. Rain pelted my face and bare arms. I noticed I had ripped jeans and a dirty tank top on. My eyes adjusted to the darkness. A crackling sound flowed to my ears as a burnt smell stings my nose. "Your awake. Good." a male voice said. I looked everywhere but couldn't find the guy speaking to me. "W-who's there?" I said shaking nervously. I stood up and grabbed a fallen branch from the ground to protect me. I scanned my surroundings to look for the guy talking to me. "Over here." He said. I spun around but still no one. "COME OUT!" I yelled shivering. A guy walked out of the woods. He has a black jacket that is unzipped revealing his six pack. A hood covered his hair and a red bandana covers his eyes. "Hey, are you okay?" He asked snapping me out of my trance. "Uh... I-I'm fine, thanks." I responded. We made eye contact, or at least I thought we did, then I looked away. "Do you remember anything that happened?" He asked me. "I-i can't recall anything." I looked around the camp site and saw that the fire was out. "W-who are you?" I asked looking at him. He was silent for a moment until he finally spoke. "Just know I am not a bad guy. I simply saved your life. Now get some rest." He walked over to the cave that wasn't deep and I followed him in. As soon as I layed on the ground I fell asleep as the rain continued to pour outside the cave.

~Aaron's POV~

As soon as she was asleep I took off my bandana and hood. The rain picked up along with the wind and the girl started to shiver. I took off my jacket and layed it on her to keep her warm. By the looks of it its close to midnight. "I better keep a look out." I got up and walked in to the rain with my sword in my hand ready to defend myself. Thunder clashed through the sky lighting up the woods. We are safe for now I thought. I went over to lay on the ground and fell asleep.
