3. Meeting old friends

When we arrived at the church Zoe took Sophia out of the car. Zoe and I walked into the church hand in hand and Zoe was holding Sophia. We talked to Joe and poppy for a bit before the christening and then when the christening started we all went to our places.

When the christening was over we all went to a hotel for a meal. We were in our own room so it was private. We chatted for a bit before our meal. I walked over to Zoe who was talking to Joe Caspar and Oli. Oh look here is Daddy Deyes. Oli shouted laughing. I can't believe you both are parents feels like yesterday Zoe taught Alfie how to tie is shoes. Caspar said. It was yesterday. Joe chuckled. Haha very funny. I said sarcastic. Can I hold Sophia because she hasn't met her uncle Caspar properly. Caspar said. Of course you can. Zoe said. Don't drop her Caspar she not a toy. Oli chuckled. Everyone soon sat down and had there meal. After we had finished eatting. I went to talk to my mum. My mum and I had a bit of a disagreement before Sophia was born. We didn't talk for months but now we are closer then ever because of Sophia. I walked over to my mum who was chatting with Jonathan SacconeJoly. Hello guys. I said. Hey Alfie. Jonathan said. I had a bit of a catch up with Jonathan and he put a idea in my mind to start a family channel like he does. I should vlog everyday if Sophia's life and when she's older she will be able to watch it. I don't know if I am going to do it but I talk about it with Zoe.

My mum and I were left alone because Jonathan had to go to a crying Eduardo. How is my grand daughter doing. Mum said tickling Sophia. She's doing great aren't you cutie. I said. Mum smiled at me. What? I asked. I'm glad we are close again and that I'm part of Sophia's life. Mum said. Me too mum. I said smiling. A few months ago I thought we wouldn't ever talk again but now we are closer then ever.

Everyone soon started going home and a few of our friends were coming back to our house. Everyone else went on ahead and Zoe and I stayed back to sort a few thing with the hotel. When we sorted that out we then started to get going. I got was carrying Sophia and Zoe had her her things. When we were walking out we met someone we really didn't want to meet Niomi. She was walking down the hall towards us. Zoe looked at me with a scared look.

Oh hi Alfie. Niomi said. Niomi gave Zoe a disgusted look. I stayed quiet. Oh is this your baby shes so cute. Niomi said. Thanks. Zoe said angry. Your lucky you don't have two baby's after what happened with you and me. Niomi sniggered. Come on Zoe lets go. I walked on but Zoe didn't she looked angry. Well Alfie doesn't sleep with sluts. Zoe shouted. Well he slept with you. Niomi laughed and walked on. Zoe looked at me upset and angry. Don't listen to her she not worth it. I said. Zoe took a deep breath.
