8. Uncle bonding

Alfie and I were going to a wedding venue today we were both really excited. I had feeling today we would finally find the perfect venue.

Alfie and I woke up early from our alarm. Sophia didn't cry much last night. She usually has some good nights and a few bad nights. Alfie really didn't want to get up. Alfie time to get up. I said softly. Alfie groaned. Come on Alf. I said. Alfie put his arms around my waist and pulled me close and said give me a cuddle. I giggled. I will give you a cuddle later. I said kissing his cheek and getting up.

Alfie soon got out of bed. I fed and dressed Sophia. She was so cute she was giggling and smiling. Sophia was going to stay with Amanda today because we can't take her to look at venues. I go downstairs to see Alfie sitting at the table editing his vlog. When we sees me and Sophia. Hello cutie Alfie said softly. I hand Sophia to Alfie. Alfie ticking Sophia. When I see Alfie with Sophia I feel so happy. Alfie started vlogging Sophia. We don't vlog her much but when we do people love her.

I got ready for my day. I take a shower and get changed and do my make up. We were going to looker venue at 2pm and it12:30pm so we had leave in 30 minutes and typical Alfie wasn't ready. Alfie take ages to get ready. So while he was doing that I packed Sophia's baby bag with nappies and bottles stuff like that.

Alfie still wasn't ready and we should have left by now. Alfie runs down stairs and says come on let's go. Alfie is the one keeping us back. But He said it with laugh so I knew he was messing with me.

We were about to leave and we hear a car outside and then our doorbell rings.

I answer the door and see Joe. Hey guys. Joe says walking in. Hey joe. I say confused on why he's here. Why are you here. I said. To see my niece I haven't really spent time with her and I want to be a real uncle. Joe said. That was sweet but now really wasn't a good time. We are heading to look at venues you don't mind waiting here while we go. Alfie said. That's fine I don't mind wait is Sophia going with you Joe asks.
No she's staying at my mums. Alfie responds. I can mind her if you want. Joe suggests. I was afraid he would ask that Joe has never really babysat. It's ok Amanda can do it. I say hoping Joe won't pled to babysit. I can do it I want to get close with her please guys. Joe says. Alfie looks at me. I really didn't want Joe minding my child. No Joe it's ok Amanda can look after her. I say. You don't trust me why cant I mind her let me prove myself that I can look after Sophia. Joe begs. We should give him and chance. Alfie says. Fine ok. I say. Alfie gives Sophia to Joe and I explain the rules and what to do.

Her bottles out in the fridge nappies out in her room. Wait you know how to change a nappy right. I ask. Of course I do. Joe says. I nod and continue explaining. Call us if something goes wrong or Amanda. I say. Ok got it you can leave now. Joe says. Ok Alfie and I say bye to Sophia and I left worrying.

I put Sophia in this baby play thing I had no idea what it was but seen it on TV for baby's. I watched TV and thought this is easy peasy. Well I was wrong the baby started crying. I jump up from the sofa and picked up Sophia and I didn't know what to do. I thought this would be easy. It kept crying and I sat and thought about what to do to make her stop.

Will Joe be able to prove that is a uncle or will his babysitting end in disaster
