7. Against the world

Sophia woke us up so many times last night. I can't remember the last time I had a full night sleep. But that's the part of being a parent you get zero sleep.

Zoe was very stressed over the Niomi thing. She was very annoyed. I just understand what's her problem we haven't seen Niomi for months and now she is coming into out life's. I feel like she wants something or wants to make Zoe upset I just don't understand her problem.

We woke up and Zoe sorted out Sophia while I made Zoe and I breakfast. Zoe came downstairs with Sophia ready. Hello princess. I said taking Sophia off Zoe. How's my little girl. I said. Zoe ate her breakfast. We were invited to mums for dinner today so that will be fun and maybe get Zoe's mind off Niomi.

I spent most of the morning editing and playing with Sophia. We left to go to my mums at 3pm. I was happy I was close with my mum again I missed doing things like this when we weren't talking.

When we got there Poppy and sean were there and straight away poppy started holding Sophia. We have our own babysitter for the day. Zoe laughed. I'm bonding with my niece. Poppy laughed. We all had a catch up and had our dinner and it felt good to be close with my family again.

I was really thirsty so I decided to get a drink. When I went to get a drink in the kitchen poppy came over to me. How is Zoe she seemed really upset over Niomi. Poppy asked. I don't know what Niomi is trying to do. I said getting a drink out of the fridge. I would watch Niomi she seems like she is up to something. Poppy said. Yeah I'm going to try and ignore the situation and forget it for Zoe's sake I don't want her to get stressed. I said. Yeah that properly the best thing to do and if you meet Niomi keep walking. Poppy said. Yeah thanks poppy. I said. Poppy smiled and left the room.

I sighed and walked into the room and sat beside Zoe. I gave Zoe a kiss on the lips. Zoe smiled. I love you and remember it just you me and Sophia against the world. Zoe smiled. I love you too. Zoe said. I use to always say that to Zoe when she was pregnant with Sophia and I thought that we both needed to a reminder that we will always get through any obstacles that came our way. Well I hope we can get through every situation we face.
