Agnes's P.O.V.
"Aye Sir. Ill be gettin' the rum." A far away voice drifted to my drowsy ears. There was a creaking sound and then light spilled from the ceiling. "Uh-oh. The Cap'n ain't gonna be 'appy we gots a stowaway" it was then I realized the voice wasn't far away at all. My eyelids reluctantly opened. There was a man standing above me. He was probably a couple years older than me. "At least yer a pretty one." He grinned down at me and reached for my arm. I screamed. "Oi girly hush." His hand clamped over my mouth. A strong hand was gripped around my arm and he lifted me from the box. "Come on now. Best be showin' you to Wes." He dragged me up a flight of stairs and onto the deck of the ship. There were about 6 men on deck. I felt all their eyes on me as I was dragged to The helm. "Cap'n Wes. Look at what I found in our rum box" the man who was holding me through me in front of someone roughly. I dropped to my knees. Still dizzy from hitting my head when I got in the box. A pair of scuffed up black boots were infront of me. I was scared. These men were pirates. I was sure of it. I kept my eyes trained onto the boots.
"Well now. I think I've met this delicate flower a couple years back. Come 'ere Princess." I looked up a little bit, to see a hand extend down to me. I hesitantly grabbed the hand and was pulled up. "Hello Pearl." Only one person had ever called me that.
"Alan?" I said quietly. Finally I look up to his face. He look more or less the same. However his once boyish features were more manly. His eyes were the same. So dark blue. I stepped away from him. Running into the man who first found me. I looked around. There was no land in sight. Fear rose in my throat.
"Listen Princess. We aren't docking for a while. And even when we do. I don't think I wanna give you back," an evil smirk danced across his lips.
"I have to get back home. I'm to be married soon I can't ju-"
"Wow? Married. Well we should get you back right away milady. Ill get Baxter right on that." He turned to the person manning the helm. "Hear that Bax. We need to be gettin' back right now. The Princess here is gettin married." His mocking tone sent hate through my body. Baxter laughed. "Toots bring Pearl to my chamber. Lock her in. Ill deal with her later." The man who had found me's hand connected with my arm at the exact place it had been before I glared at Alan as he pulled me away. Again I was thrown. This time into a room. These barbarians didn't know how to handle a lady. I picked myself up from the floor. Alan's room was amazing. A big wood framed bed with mermaids carved into the legs. I saw a small door in the back corner. I walked over and opened it. Inside a small room. Was a bathroom. A large porcelain tub against the back wall and a small toilet. A large mirror hung on the wall. Feeling the need for a bath I latched the door shut. Looking at myself in the mirror I was horrified. My perfectly done makeup had faded. The kohl that had lined my eyes had smudged. My hair was messy. My tiara still remained perfectly perfect somehow. My dress was dirty. When the bath was filled with hot water I undressed and slipped into the tub. I had found a small lump of soap and began to scrub my body. I could almost feel myself relaxing. I scrubbed and scrubbed until my skin was raw. Them there was a knock at the door.
"Pearl? You in there?" I heard Alan's voice.
"Yes" my voice cracked. The door suddenly swung open. I thought I latched the door! I hurriedly covered my body. As much as I could. My cheeks burned. He smiled down at me looking me over. I felt my blush deepen. Which only made him smirk even more.
"Princess if you want me to act on my feeling right now all you have to do is blush even more." He said. His voice was laced with darkness. Was this really the same boy I had met. Only a couple years ago? His words only made me involuntarily blush even more. If that was possible I'm sure I was as red as a tomato. "Well if you say so Princess." I was lifted from the water. I felt arms around me.
"Let me go" I seethed. His body was covering mine so he couldn't see much.
"That's a good idea then I can admire you" he pushed me away from his body and I fell to a heap on the floor. Unfortunately for him I fell near my clothes and quickly covered myself. "Fine you don't want me to see you. Do you need clothes?"
"If you would be so kind as to spare some." I said curtly. He walked out and trough a shirt at me. "Thank you..." he held his hand out to help me up. I grasped it and clutched the shirt to my chest.
"Stay in here princess. Ill figure out how I can use you later." Another smirk played across his lips. He closed the door behind him when he left.
"He's turned into a pirate." I mumbled. I managed to get my corset on. It wasn't as tight as it usually was. But it still kept me contained. The shirt he gave me when down to my knees. I searched his room and found what I was looking for. A belt. I tightened it just under my breasts. It kept its length but now you could see that I had a figure. I saw that he had also left a pair of small black knee high boots outside the bathroom door. I slipped them on. They felt roomy. Not like my tight slippers and dance shoes that I usually wear. I wiggles my toes and enjoyed the comfort that the boots provided. I had no idea what to do. I sat on his desk chair and looked through the small jewelry boxes that lay across the wooden surface. Simple trinkets. Gold mostly. Being a royal I was expected to value gold more than silver but I loved silver. It aggravated mother and daddy. Fitz just thought that it was my right to value what was important to me. A thought suddenly accrued to me. I may never see him again. Ever. Who was going to care for me? Who was going to love me for who I am and not who others expected me to be? After all my years of living he was the only one who had ever cared. And now, I fear that I will never hear his kind voice. Ill never see his worrisome posture or tone. Tears began running down my face, I tried desperately to wipe them away but the ones that got brushed off were replaced by new ones. Now I was trapped on a boat with strange men. No. Not men. Savages. Scum. The devils spawn. The most horrid beings on the planet. Pirates.
