Hey guys I'd really appreciate it if you voted and for the word out about my story. I hope you're enjoying it!!~Kassi<3

Agnes's P.O.V.

"Today you will start with chores and work your way up to Captain. So you'll be working with Thomas." Cigs told me. I nodded and followed him down to were Thomas was cleaning the lower deck.

"Hello miss!" Thomas looked up from the floor of the deck and smiled happily at me.

"Hello Thomas." I said. I was a little nervous to be learning how to clean. I never had to actually clean. Being a princess my whole life I had maids and Fitz. I never had to do more than tidy up my jewels. This was going to be rather difficult.

"Thomas your in charge of miss teach 'er ow to clean and all the things you do" with that Cig left.

"Well miss..."

"Please call me Aggie" I said before I knew what I was saying. I felt like Thomas was someone trust worthy even though he was a pirate. I trusted him. He had a kind glow around him. His red hair and bright green eyes just made him look like a friendly person.

"If that'd be what you want miss- I mean Aggie!" he corrected himself so quickly it made me laugh.

"So what are we doing Thomas?" I sat next to him on my knees. He handed me a floor scrubber.

"Scrub" he said.

The sun had just started setting.

Everything hurt. From my fingers to my toes. My back was aching and all I wanted was to was curl up in a nice comfy bed with a cup of tea. I walked wearily up the steps to the quarter deck to Alan's bedroom door. I was just about to open it.

"Pearl? Where are you going?"

I turned around and leaned my back against the door to look at Alan. " I'm tired I was going to go lay down awhile."

"Nope. It's dinner time. C'mon." He took my arm and started pulling me along behind him.

He dragged me into a room below deck. There was a small bar and a single long table there were 3 chairs on either side if the table and one at the head. There was no seat for me.

"Oi doc bring in a seat for Pearl," Alan called. A tall man with tan skin came in carrying a chair. He smiled kindly at me.

"Here you go Miss Agnes" he held the back of the chair and motioned for me to sit.

"Thank you very much" I sat and he pushed the chair in for me. Come to think of it I hadn't seen him on deck that much. Not that I'd been on deck much myself. He seemed like a gentleman. And he was kind like Thomas. What's wrong with these pirates? Why are the ones I've talked to nice to me?

I was sitting opposite from Alan at the head of the table. I sir straight up with my hands folded in my lap.

"Charlie where's the food?" Alan called from his chair.

"Hold your horses mate it's coming!" another man entered carrying several platters balanced on his arms. He trough them down on the table.

"Bring in the liquor too" Alan told Charlie as he turned to go back to what I assumed was the kitchen.

He quickly turned around and bowed to Alan "Yes your majesty. Shall I polish your shoes too?" he said sarcastically.

"Watch it Charlie you shouldn't talk to your captain like that" Alan pointed his finger with a smile on his face. Charlie stood back up and started for the kitchen again.

"Whatever" he soon returned with the liquor and before I could protest a mug of it was placed In front of me. I looked at Alan across from me with an eyebrow raised.

"You wanted to be a pirate. So drink" he smirked picking up his own cup and taking a gulp. I followed suit and before I knew it the jokes that the men were cracking were making me laugh. And I was having a good time.

Maybe being a pirate wouldn't be so bad.
