Lauren texted me asking if I wanted to hang out. She should be here any minute and I dont even know if Im excited or nervous.

I grabbed the two books I was going to check out and walked to the front desk. I gave the lady my card and put the books in my bag.

I dropped my card on the floor and I went to pick it up but someone had beaten me to it. I looked up and it was Lauren.

"Your library card." she said handing me my card and I quickly shoved it into my bag.

"Hi Lolo," I said excitingly as I grabbed her in for a hug.

"Hi Camz." She said squeezing me tightly then letting go. She started walking outside of the library. "Lets do something!" She said staring at me as we stood on the sidewalk.

"Like what?" I asked.

"I dont know. Lets go to the park or something?"

I nodded and we began walking. I couldnt say that I wasn't nervous being around Lauren again because I was. But I was excited. I mean seeing eachother at Xfactor auditions was literally a blessing. But right here, right now, felt amazing. It killed me not seeing Lauren for so long and im glad we could see eachother again. Although things might not be the same.

"Camz." Lauren said grabbing my hand and leading me up a hill.

"Yeah?" I said following her.

"You havent said a word this whole walk." She said sitting down underneath a tree and I sat beside her.

"Oh. I was just in deep thought." I said smiling at her, "You know Lauren, im glad you're here, hanging out with me."

"Im glad too." She smiled.

She took my hand and held it tight as she closed her eyes and hummed a song. At first I had no idea what she was humming. Then the song clicked in my head. Lego House by Ed Sheeran.

I looked over at Lauren as she started singing instead of humming. Her voice made me melt and I just sat with her and enjoyed the moment. The words flowed out of her so beautifuly. Her eyes were still closed, so I closed mines as well and layed my head on her shoulder and hummed as she sang.

I'll pick you up when you're getting down
And out of all these things I've down I will love you better now

Lauren finished singing, but she never let go of my hand and I never lifted my head off of her shoulder.

I felt her move a little, "Hey Camz, remember when I promised you forever?" she asked me.

I nodded not taking my head off of her shoulder.

"Well im still keeping my promise. Even if forever means just being friends, or more than that if we're able to fix this." She said lifting my chin up so I could face her, "Camila, you mean so much to me. I never want to loose you. I could barely survive without you and now that I have you back, im not going to loose you. Ever."

A tear escaped from her eyes and I quickly wiped them away and placed a kiss on her cheek. "Lauren, you wont loose me ever, I promise. It doesn't matter if we're friends or if we're dating, as long as I have you thats all that matters to me." I said standing up. I grabbed her hand and helped her up. "I wanna go on the swings Lolo." I said grabbing her hand as I ran towards the swings.

I know that today, I'll start being happy again..
