About five hours later, you found yourself standing inside of a familiar-looking house. A small one - only one floor, two if you counted the basement - but it felt spacious anyways somehow. Looking around, it was easy to spot the pale grey eyes of Sophie. She seemed to be... Looking straight at you. Looking into your eyes. No one else's, only... You. It took a few moments, but you realized that she was spacing out, thinking to herself, still not knowing of your presence. You let out a sigh of relief, which was followed by another sigh, but this time, one of boredom. Sophie sat up and looked to the side, spotting the small human. "... Child, what is your name?"
The human blinked. "I... Don't know. I can't remember." They looked to their feet, sighing and frowning in unhappiness. "But I do know that you're my momma."
Sophie groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose and sighing. "How am I ever going to tell them that I'm not a mother?" She murmured under her breath to herself. She adjusted the cover over her lamp, allowing more light into the room, and it was easier to see that it was the guest room. The walls were a few different, but fitting, warm colors. Some looked to have been painted on normally, some looked like paint had been shot out of a water gun, some looked like they were the product of a water balloon of paint hitting the wall and splashing color all over it. It was... An interesting look, to say the least.
"Momma?"
"I'm not your mother." The non-human sighed, sitting up and looking to the human. "But how can I help you?"
"Do you have a soul?"
Sophie, feeling up for light-hearted words, simply said. "Nope. Never had one. Why?"
"Just wanted to know. Does that mean I have no soul?"
"You're not my child, I wouldn't know."
"I have just one more question to ask..."
Sophie sighed, but before she could even speak, the child continued. "How are universes created?"
