The black and white banded hamster, who I learnt was called Sapphire, pressed a small circular navy button on the tracking device and it started a monotone beeping. We all shuffled forwards until in only around quarter of a metres time the machine began to bleep faster. Oscar motioned for us to stop as Sapphire moved forwards until the beep became a singular droning sound, Snicker (Honeys mentor) whispered something to her and she nodded nervously. She walked up to Sapphire, bumping into a couple other hamsters in typical Honey fashion, and stood up on her back legs. After a few seconds of hesitation she moved her trembling paw and pushed down on a nearly invisible white button. A long thin price of string shot out and gripped onto the wall at he end of the corridor, still attached to her pack. The motion caused a flaming ball of light to bomb through the wall which then sizzled slowly out on the other side of the corridor. Sapphire looked pleased until she realised what was happening to Honey. The hook was slowly drawing back in, pulling Honey with it. Right into the next trap...
