I sat in my truck on the side of the road, and waited. What was I waiting for? I'm going to be honest here, I don't know. It's been a few hours since my father took off again, and I'm just sitting here. I wasn't expecting Uncle F and Parker to return home for another few hours, considering its only 1 o'clock in the afternoon. Uncle usual doesn't return until 5. So I pretty much did what I wanted to do during the day. Expect today was just a plain, boring day. I was only thinking about what my father said, or my date with Sky last night. I was sitting there when someone tapped on my truck window. I jumped, a bit startled, when I looked I saw a local police officer. I rolled down my window.
"Problem?" I asked him.
"What are you doing here?" He asked.
"I'm just sitting here, I have nothing better to do." I replied.
"Oh okay, I was just making sure, you looked a bit suspicious." He said.
"Yeah, I get that a lot." I said.
"Well take care now, don't cause any trouble." He said walking back to his car and drove off. I left my window down, with my arm out the window. I usually didn't have a problem with the local police, but I guess it can be pretty suspicious for me to camp on the side of the road. I just sat there again, thinking, I didn't know what to do. Sky was at work, so was Uncle F, along with Parker. I eventually decided to go to work to see them, I had nothing better to do. So I started up my truck and drove to work. I pulled up and parked in front of the building, got out, and walked inside. I'm not really around here during the day, there were a few birthday parties, and regular family lunches going on. Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica were on the stage, as usual, and Foxy was still locked up in Pirates Cove. I looked over to the security desk and saw Uncle F sitting there.
"Hey-a Peter, not were usual to see you here at this time of day." Uncle F said.
"Yeah, I got bored." I said.
"Must've been pretty bored if it drove you here." Uncle F said.
"Yeah I was," I said.
"So did you talk to Sky yesterday?" He asked.
"What? Did you not talk to her?" I asked.
"Nah, we haven't spoken to each other yet today." He said.
"Well yeah, I talked to her," I said.
"And?" He asked.
"We went on a date," I said.
"Did ya get her number?" He asked.
"No, but we kissed, twice." I replied.
"Way to go boy, first date, first kiss. Do you like her?" He asked.
"Yeah, I do." I said.
"Well, I think she's in the basement getting drinks if you wanna speak with her." He said.
"Yeah, I'll go speak with her," I said then started walking to the door that leads to the basement. I opened the door and walked down the stairs. When I reached the bottom, I saw Sky organizing and sorting through boxes of drinks.
"Hey," I said.
She looked at me, "Hey there Peter," Sky said.
"I wanted to talk to you," I said.
Sky sat the box down that she was holding, "Me too." She said.
"I enjoyed our date last night," I said.
"I did too, even though we got drunk," she said.
I laughed, "Yeah, definitely had a hangover." I said.
"Same here. I'm surprised I made it to work today. Speaking of work, I'm surprised your here." She said.
"Yeah I got bored and decided to come see you." I said.
"Aww, that's sweet of you." She said giving me a hug. I hugged her back.
"I'm not sweet, I'm a killer." I said.
"Your sweet to me, remember, we're both killers." She said.
We parted from our hug, and she looked at me with her hands on my shoulders.
"Don't be hard on yourself Peter, just because your a killer doesn't mean your not 'dating material.'" She said.
"Thanks Sky," I said.
"Your welcome Pete." She said. She removed her hands from my shoulders.
"Peter, I do love you." She said.
"I love you too Sky." I said.
She kissed me on the cheek then picked up the box of drinks and headed back upstairs. I stood there for a second then also headed up stairs.
