(So we resume!)

I drove up as far as I was allowed up the mountain. We had gotten out of the truck and began to walk up the path. Sky was holding my hand while looking at the mountains beautiful sites.
"Wow, it's such a beautiful place to visit Peter!" She explained.
"Yeah, but you're better looking," I replied to her.
"D'awe, you're so sweet," she said giving me a kiss upon my cheek.
We eventually reached the top of the mountain. We were alone, looking at the town and beyond. We could see the surrounding mountains around the town. It truly was a site to beyond, this was her, and my favorite spot to go. The hike up the mountain never bothered us one bit. We would enjoy the views on the way up.
We sat there, her hand was on my hand. We didn't look at each other, we stared upon the town. My mind was clear, not a single thought had come through.
"You know Peter, you're really the best thing that has happened to me," she stated.
"I could say the same for you," I responded.
"I know you're in a tough situation and all, but I want you to remember that I'll always be there for you," she said in a low, calm tone.
"I know Sky, I love you and I'll always love you and nothing can change that fact. I know you'll be there for me as I will me there for you," I responded.
She blushed a soft red, she gave me a kiss, "I love you too Peter."
"Happy Birthday sweetheart," I said removing my hand from her cheek.

We laid back and glanced at the star for awhile before heading back down.
