As soon as Levi got into his small driveway, he pushed his bike under the porch from where he had gotten it earlier and dove inside of his house. He set the bag of groceries onto his kitchen table before he walked to his bedroom.
His hands were shaking violently as he peeled off his soaked clothing and threw them into his hamper. He searched for a set of dry clothes.
When he found some, he threw them on at the speed of light and then sat down in front of the wood burner.
As this gave off little heat, Levi found himself unable to grow any warmer and he sighed, hugging himself while he tried to grit his teeth together.
Levi hated how he got cold easily, he hated how he always felt so weak, he hated how he had no one to just vent all of his problems too. He wanted someone to be by his side when he was in this type of situation.
Sure, there was Hanji and Erwin, but he wanted someone to love. Yes, he loved Hanji and Erwin but not in a romantic way, and that's how he wanted to be loved. He wanted someone to kiss his forehead when he was sad and to tell him he was alright, he wanted to be able to cuddle with someone and just be himself with them.
But that was impossible for Levi.
No one would want to fall in love with someone so poor they can barely put food on the table. They wouldn't want to deal with Levis mental problems that he had when it came to his past.
And this hurt the Raven. It really did. He just wanted to be loved, but there was no one to do that.
He only wanted to love someone.

As soon as Levi felt his joints in his fingers not as locked up, he got up from his spot next to the wood burner and got ready to make dinner.
He pulled out an old skillet that Erwin had given him to prepare food on and turned on the stove stop.
He put a small slice of butter in the bottom and waited for it to melt before he could put on a piece of chicken.
As soon as he was about to do so, a faint noise startled him enough to the point that he dropped the piece of chicken onto the floor.
He grimaced at the wasted food and then threw it out, promising to himself to be more careful.
Another small sound from his porch made him jump and he was starting to become aggravated with whatever was making the noise.
He marched to the door and threw it open, only to find a small cat, drenched from the rain, shivering on his doorstep.
Levis eyes widened and watched the cat look up at him, with its Caribbean eyes that were just absolutely beautiful.
Levi looked around as if to find an owner before he slowly crouched down the pick up the cat.
As soon as his hands came in contact with the animal, he realized just how cold it actually was.
"Do you have an owner?" He asked softly as if he was going to get a response. When he didn't one he almost face palmed at how stupid he looked trying to talk to the cat.
He picked up the thin animal, clutching it to his chest to get it warm before stepping aback inside.
The cat mewled and closed its eyes, trying to fall asleep in Levis arms. The Raven almost felt pity for the cat and decided to try to help it.
Yes, Levi dos have a heart.
He carefully pulled a blanket off of his bed while he tried to balance the cat in one arm. He then folded it up and took it to the wood burner where he folded in up and set the feline onto it.
'How did a cat even make it this far out of the city?' Levi asked himself as he started stroking the cats fur, not even realizing he was doing it.
The cat purred and stretched, it's eyes still closed from earlier.
For some odd reason, Levi wanted to see that cats eyes again, they were so mysterious and beautiful.
As if complying to Levis wishes, the cat slowly opened his eyes to look at his savior.
Levi ran his hand down the animals deep brown fur, which reminded him of dark chocolate. The cats eyes perfectly clashed with the brown to make one of the most beautiful color combinations he's ever seen.
The cat yawned and stood up, shaking its body to get the remaining water off of its fur.
It then stretched once more and began purring, pushing against Levis pale hand asking to be pet.
The male smiled weakly and began rubbing under the cats chin, making the purring noise increase even more.
"Do you have a name?" Levi asked in the same time that he used earlier. The cat stopped purring and put its paw on Levis, as if to push it back.
The cat almost nodded, and Levi was surprised that it was responding. But it could always just be his imagination.
"What is it?" The cat stood up and jumped onto Levis shoulder, and then onto the chair behind him.
Levi gave the feline a confused look as he leaped onto the book case.
The cat studied the bindings for a moment before pointing to the 'E,' on 'Robinson Crusoe.' Levi raised an eyebrow and then realized what the animal way trying to do.
It was spelling its name.
'R' Levi then audibly said the letter, trying to think of where the cat was going with this.
'E'
'N'
"Eren?" Levi asked, testing out the name on his tongue. Eren gave an approving look before hopping off of the book shelf.
"So I'm guessing you're not a girl." Levi chuckled before he walked back into the kitchen to finish cooking dinner.
Eren followed the Raven into the kitchen and watched him cook the chicken, his tail swishing from side to side.
Levi stole glances of Eren every now and then. He just stared at him, not really moving or having any plans on doing so.
Eren then began grooming his fur as Levi finished preparing the chicken, cooking an extra piece for Eren. Levi cringed, "I'm definitely giving you a bath tonight, that's disgusting. Eren payed no attention to the mans words and just looked up at him, a goofy expression upon his face.
The brown cat looked as if he was smiling as Levi placed the small plate in front of him. "Go on, eat it."
Eren did not hesitate to begin wolfing down the food, having no reason to believe that the food had been tampered with.
