"It's fettuccine, not feta-chenni." She concludes. Stacy Hinojosa was like the real life Hermione Granger, minus the magic and wands. She corrects the customer's grammar, speech, and even punctuation. But the customers didn't enjoy it. After telling someone that they used the incorrect tense of the verb 'order', Zach, the restauranteur's son, pulled her aside.
"Stacy, you can't keep doing this." He puts his hands on his hips, staring at the girl that has worked at the restaurant for over two years, been in his grade for eight.
"Well, they can't keep on using 'ordered' as 'will order'. It's just not right!"
Zach rolls his eyes at her as she frowns. "You don't know the first thing of 'not right'! Let me remind you, the most hated person in your neighborhood is Ms. Woodrey, and that's only because she puts her garbage out a day early!"
"Trust me, I've read-"
"That's the thing, you read! You need to experience, not read!"
"Give me one good thing that is 'not right' that I don't know!"
"This." And that's when he slammed his lips against hers.
Stacy Hinojosa then found out later that night there were several things she had to learn about 'not right'. But she was eager to learn them. And the myth was confirmed, experiences are better than just reading.
