My Vampire Romance

Chapter 5

*Up above is the mansion that they all live in ^^*

We got home to the mansion around 7. Kat and I were sitting out on one of the balconies.

"Jace?" 

"Yes, my love?" I asked, putting my arm around her and pulling her into me.

"Tomorrow I want to talk to change you. Maybe then, I can convince Isaac that you were just someone I know from school, and he will let you leave."

"You can still go to school? I thought everyone forgot who you were." I was confused.

"No, I can't go back to our school, but there is a high school here full of other vampires. I'm starting there on Monday." Kat seemed really happy, but i could see the fright in her eyes.

"If you change me, will everyone forget me, even the vampires?" If that would work, we can go back home and have a normal life. 

"Jace, I'm not sure. If you want to go through with it just to take a chance, I'll do it for you." With that, she smiled, stood up, and walked back into the house.

I followed her into the house and found her gone. I walked into the hallway to find it silent. Suddenly, I felt a hand touch my shoulder. Startled, I whipped my head around and saw Kat standing there now wearing a black tank top and gray sweatpants. She looked up at me and smiled.

"Did I scare you?" She raised an eyebrow and laughed. Her laugh was adorable.

"N-no, you don't scare me!" 

"Sure I don't. Go get some pajamas and meet me in the living room. Isaac left to go talk to someone, don't know who, but someone." Kat smiled again and this time I saw her fangs sticking out. I've never seen a vampire nor fangs before. "What? Never seen fangs before? I know how you feel. When I first got here and I felt hungry, I felt them pop out and they felt kinda funny. I'm hungry right now. Let's go get some food before I eat you." She joked.

"Okay, sounds good." I didn't realize how hungry I was getting. I hadn't eaten anything after we had been kidnapped.
