My Vampire Romance

Chapter 6

*Sorry I could't update much I was babysitting and now on Sunday I'm going to an amusement park so yep. I hope you're having a good spring break :D*

Kat made me a few turkey sandwiches and grabbed herself a bottle of blood from the fridge. We were sitting at the bar in the kitchen when all of the sudden there was a huge crash and a scream following. Kat immediately stood up and looked out of the huge window and her jaw dropped. I walked over to see what was outside. I grabbed Kat's hand to pull her back but she didn't budge. Standing outside the house was Isaac and 4 more people I couldn't quite make out. There were bodies all over the ground, bleeding and lifeless. 

"Kat we need to go..." I tugged her harder and she looked at me with tears in her eyes. She shook her head and pulled her hand back to her body. "Kat! Please! We need to leave! NOW!"

"I can't..." She dropped to the floor. I kneeled down and saw that she was crying.

"Kat," I was getting frustrated, "at least tell me what is happening! Please?" I lifted her chin up so her eyes met mine. I could sense fear in her. 

"I can't tell you... I need to change you though. Like, right now!" Kat took my hand and pulled me closer. "Can I? It's the only way you will live." Kat looked at me with desperation. 

I was very hesitant. "Um.... yeah I guess. Go ahead." I leaned down so she could bite me. 

"I'm so sorry Jasik." This was the first time I've heard someone call me by my whole name, except for my mom. She leaned down and i felt a strong pain in my arm. I was surprised it wasn't my neck. I looked over at her and saw she had my wrist to her mouth. Kat pulled her fangs out of my wrist and picked me up. "Give it about fifteen minutes. You should be changed by then." She set me on the couch and stood near the window. 

"Kat what is going on?"

"Don't move or talk. It'll make you feel more weak. I'll tell you if you promise not to say anything. Okay?"  

I nodded my head.

"Okay so here it goes..."
