My Only 'One'

Chapter 14-Wolf

Erik too agreed to befriend them first and later bring them here. It was a little difficult because he waited much more time than me. I can't wait to see how she looks like and get her in my arms. We immediately got to the human realm. Humans don't know of our existence and we plan to keep it that way. We do come here sometimes just like a visit but it is mostly when someone finds a human mate. But human mates are rare so the visits to human realm are also rare. But we  employed certain vampires in certain parts of the human realm for safety issues. They will stay there for certain amount of time monitoring issues and after their period we will send another person. 

I found my mate. Though she is in human realm it is rather easy to find her  because one, she is my mate and two, I am the strongest royal so the pull between us is extremely strong.

The first time we saw them was in their home, which we later found to be my princess home. It is a two storey house with her room upstairs. Both of them, Erik's mate and my mate, were there in that room at that time. We were so mesmerized by their presence. Finding them after waiting for so long thinking that there was no one destined for us is truly wonderful. We watched them by the window all over the night.

All the time Erik's mate was saying something to my mate animatedly and she is listening to her with a gentle smile on her face. She barely made some remark in the middle but oh man! her voice is to die for. She is so like an angel. Sweet and cute. We found by their conversations that they are cousins and within an hour we found every single detail about them. The people we place in the human realm are in quite powerful positions and being a vampire is also an advantage. We draw attention. It is a common thing. Our existence commonly shows power and people notice us without any effort from us.

I enrolled myself in her college and Erik in her mate's school. My mate is in college but Erik's mate is  in school. Both are in considerable distance from this place. It will be said that we got transferred from London or Italy. My angel is 18 years old and her cousin is 16. It is funny that the younger one of us got the elder one of them. But I don't know why I don't want to change it. I just want her not any one. Only her. Something in her behavior says she is very kind and sweet girl.I couldn't wait to finally meet her the next day.

By the end of next day I was furious. As expected all the girls in the college were attracted to me, hell, when I went to Erik even there schoolgirls got attracted. There was a huge commotion. But my own mate didn't even look at me. I was in each and everyone of her class. But she never even glanced at me. If not for her racing heart I would have thought that she doesn't feel the pull. She is resisting me. Erik is lucky. He is with his mate the entire day.

One week. One full week passed without her attention. Not even a single glance. My wolf is on edge, more than furious that it can't the attention of her mate. Erik even started dating her within two days. He tried to help me by asking her to meet us along with her cousin. Not just once. Many times. But she never agreed even once.

I 'accidentally' bumped into her many times. When I said sorry her already racing heart increased it's speed but she always managed to escape smoothly. Never glanced at me even once. Why? Why is resisting me? She never talks in college much. 

She mostly talks with girls. Boys when they talk to her she replies which is further frustrating me.  She is not flirting, far from it actually, just normal talk but she doesn't offer me even that so that is driving my wolf to it's edge. Not just my wolf, every part of me is on it's edge. We want her so badly. We want her to notice us, give us her sole attention.
