Meeting You

"I'm sorry, Zayn. This was all my fault," Lillian said.

Zayn looked into her beautiful green eyes with his blue ones. "Don't blame yourself for something like this. I would do anything for you. I love you, Lillian."

Zayn reached out and cupped Lillian's cheeks gently. Tears welled up in Lillian's eyes. "No matter what," Zayn said, "I will come back for you."

His eyes closed, and his hands slid off her face. Lillian looked up to the sky longingly. She could feel the sticky blood that stained her kimono. "You better come back for me, droopy eyes.," she whispered teasingly. "You better..."

Centuries passed since then, and a new era began. Lillian live through all of those centuries. Watching as the country of Japan advanced. She was immortal, and her chance to break that curse was gone after her beloved died. Even after he died, she could still feel his presence near hers. 

She walked into a nearby cafe in her favorite shopping district. "Hey, Lily! The regular, right?" one of the workers asked. "Yes, please," she said.

She turned around to find a seat, but accidently bumped into someone and dropped her belongings.

"Oh, I am so sorry,' a familiar voice said. 

"No, it's fine," Lillian said. She looked up and found herself staring into the most beautiful blue eyes she had ever seen in centuries. "Is that you? Are you Zayn?"

"I'm sorry, but do I know you? How do you know my name?"  

So he doesn't remember, she thought. But you did keep your promise. Even if you don't remember, I know it's you. You came back. 

Zayn peered at Lillian. "Um...I guess it really does feel like I've met you before."

Lillian smiled. Our love story will never end.

I bit my nails as tears welled up in my eyes. "Kyaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! I hope they make a sequel soon!!!" 

I glanced up at my clocked that sat on my bookshelf. 7:30. I'm gonna be late for school!!! I was already wearing my uniform so I didn't have to get changed. 

"I'll be going now!!!" I yelled to my parents and slammed the door shut.

"You broke the door again! How many times are you going to do that!?" My mother screamed from behind me.

"Sorry..."

          I ran faster as I headed for school. I still couldn't stop thinking about the manga I just read. It was called Century Love. It was a typical love story about a girl who finds her Prince charming. Lillian was cursed as a child so that she would stop aging after she turned 16. She lived in sadness for the first century she lived as she watched her family die one by one. But the second century she lived, she met a handsome man that turned turned out to be the runaway prince of the kingdom she lived in. He died though after his father found out that they had been secretly meeting. His father had started a war against a neighboring kingdom, and Zayn was leading it. He died trying to protect Lillian, but he didn't know that she was immortal at that time. That's where it ends, but the mangaka is planning on making a sequel to it.

I wish I could find my Prince Charming. There's actually a boy in school that looked like Zayn. His name was Zen. He had the same blonde hair and deep blue eyes. I know for sure that he's my prince. He just transferred a couple days ago, but I know that he's the one.
