Cherry Blossoms

Rae was walking towards the school courtyard when she caught sight of Khloe beside the cherry blossom tree at the center of the courtyard.  As she walked up to Khloe, Khloe waved. Halfway from Khloe a couple of girls blocked Rae," Rae, I didn't expect you here. Shouldn't you be asking your daddy to take you to Hawaii or something?" The brunette girl said. Her goons snickered behind her. " Why does she always come after me?! Why does she get out of this?!" Rae thought as she tried to take a step back. The brunette girl shoved a finger onto Rae's chest, " After all, you're not like any of us. You don't belong here... only in that pretty little prison you call a mansion, you live in. Go back home you caged freak!" Rae looked down at the ground, trying hard not to let her tears come out. before the girl could say anything else,  Khloe punched the brunette girl, causing a few heads to turn. As the girl was on the ground she looked up at Khloe," Why do you even hang around someone like her? You would be in higher ranks if you dropped the luggage. " With that, her goons helped her off the ground and the three of them walked away. Rae hugged Khloe from behind," Thank you! I owe you about a thousand hugs again!" Khloe blew out a puff of air," Rae, you need to take charge and stand up for yourself otherwise you're going to get hurt and no one is going to be there to help you." Rae couldn't help but nod," They see you as weak. They see you as pampered and spoiled and really the question is who wouldn't?" Rae thought as she let go of Khloe. Khloe turned towards Rae," I'm sorry if that came out too hard-" "No it's fine. Once in a while, I need to hear the truth and who better than you." "Definitely not Claire." Khloe said as the two laughed since Claire would probably go off on one of her romantic daydreams or heartbreak stories instead of solving a friend's problems. Rae looked around," Wait a minute...where's Claire?" Khloe shrugged," Probably sleeping in." Claire was known for sleeping in during a school day and like most rich families here in their city, her parents didn't notice nor care. Rae placed her hands on her hips," We seriously need to get that girl a spanking or something. Where are we heading to anyway? It can't be that bad?" 

As they arrived at the Temple, the students were awed. The teacher pushed up his glasses," Remember students, have at least 3 people in your group and please have at least one of the teacher's phone numbers." "So where are we heading to first?" Rae said to Khloe as the two looked at the map. Khloe wasn't even listening to Rae," We need one more member." Rae raised her eyebrow," I don't think the teacher would be upset if he lost two students," " I'll be right back!" Khloe said. Khloe rushed off without even giving Rae a chance to respond. Rae looked around the entrance to see a big beautiful cherry blossom tree," She left me all by myself. How could she?!" Rae said as she headed towards the tree. Rae stopped once she noticed a tall woman with blonde hair and violet eyes in a military outfit admiring the tree. The woman tilted her head at Rae in surprise," Here to admire the tree as well?" Rae nodded," Not exactly...my friend left me by myself to look for another partner for our group so It might be easier for her to spot me if I was over here underneath the tree." It was the women's turn to nod," Of course. Don't you think this tree is lovely?" Rae nodded," Yeah, it makes this place more peaceful," Rae looked back at the lady to see a big lion standing beside her. Rae was surprised she didn't notice the lion sooner. Rae jumped back afraid," Umm Ms.." "Ms. Bisha. What seems to be wrong?" Bisha looked back to see the lion. Bisha turned her head back towards Rae laughing and gave a calm smile," Don't worry. This is Kinki. Kinki won't bite." Rae raised her eyebrow at Bisha before looking back at Kinki. Rae had never met someone who owned a lion. "Do you mind if I pet Kinki?" Bisha smiled," but of course you can!" Rae slowly petted Kinki, afraid that Kinki might bite. Kinki went up to her and purred," Rae! Come on!" Khloe yelled.  Rae looked up at Bisha," Thank you for the company Ms.Bisha!" Bisha smiled back," Of course. Make sure to pray -" Bisha instantly went in front of Rae, shielding her, as the branches of the tree above them started moving. Suddenly a blue figure fell out of the cherry blossom tree. As the figure stood up, brushing off the cherry blossoms, he repositions himself into a weird pose," Make sure to pray to Yato!" Rae raised her eyebrows," Yato? Whose that?" " Only the best god ever! Here's my card!" As Yato tried to give Rae his card, Bisha grabbed him by his jumpsuit collar, " Why you little!" Rae slowly backed away, realizing that Ms.Bisha was going to kill the guy who just interrupted their little moment together. Rae picked up the card off the ground as she walked back towards Khloe," Have any problems give me a call! And may our fates be-Oww!" Yato yelped as Ms. Bisha punched him in the face," Stop saying that dumb line! She doesn't need her life to be messed with by you!" As Rae made her way to Khloe, Khloe looked back at Rae," What took you so long?!" Rae couldn't find the words to explain what had just happened. Khloe shrugged and grabbed Rae by the arm leading her away from the tree," Come on, let's go" Rae glanced back at Yato and Bisha, Yato now being dragged out of the temple by Ms. Bisha as he started shouting," Help! Don't let the demon lady take me!" Bisha looked down at him," Shut up already!"
