Didn't see that coming...

Bisha dragged Yato until they reached inside a deserted dirty alley. Bisha released Yato in which he jumped up," What was that?! Didn't you know I was promoting myself to that girl!" Bisha's eyebrow twitched as she started getting more frustrated and angry," Calm down Bisha...." said Kazuma. Bisha realized that Kazuma was still in her regalia form," Kazuma!" Kazuma turned into his human form. Looking around, Kazuma turned back towards Yato," Where's Yukine?" Yato pouted his lips," He didn't want to go to the shrine with me to advertise. Said he had better things to do like work. I work too! That kid..." Bisha rolled her eyes," Well next time I catch you I'm going to make you regret it. What were you thinking just dropping from a tree! You could've scared the girl!" Yato pointed his finger accusingly at Kinki," Coming from a lady who happened to have a Lion right beside her!" Bisha crossed her arms," I don't have time for this. Kazuma, Let's go." Kazuma nodded," Right!" Yato watched as the three walked away," Wonder where their heading?" Yato said to himself. Yato looked up at the sky to see a few flying creatures going about," This place might have a storm arise...But not anytime soon." Yato looked back at the sacred ground before leaving the area.

Once Rae and Khloe returned back at the entrance gates, Rae tried to replay what had just happened to her. It wasn't until she heard the sound of fingers snapping that broke her thoughts from petting a lion to watching a crazy guy who saw himself as a god get dragged away by a military chick. Rae just focused her attention back on Khloe," So are you going to explain what you were doing back there?" Rae shrugged," I was talking to the lady over there. She was pretty hard not to notice." Khloe just laughed," Why? Was she like a model or something?" Rae shrugged," I don't know. But then again, she was wearing a bad to the bones military outfit. However, she had to leave because of some weird guy who fell off of the cherry blossom tree. The guy called himself a god." "You know what would happen if Claire was here? She would yell at you for talking to strangers! Especially crazy strangers who saw themselves as gods!" Yeah, I guess..." Rae said as she rubbed the back of her head and gave a small laugh. Rae could feel the heat coming from her cheeks." Hey, Rae!" Rae turned towards the voice. Toshi, a boy with black hair and eyes that were as green as the forest and pale skin, was walking towards them as he waved and gave a big smile at Rae. Rae covered her face with her black hair. It seemed kind of awkward to be around her ex- boyfriend. The memories of the two smiling while going through the park made her heart pull. "So how are you guys?" Toshi said as he made his way over, making Rae focus once more. Khloe didn't even give Rae the chance to answer," I'm fine, we're fine, we're all fine, right?" Toshi laughed at Khloe's weird response," So are you guys ready to go?" Rae didn't know what Toshi was talking about, but from Khloe's expression on her face, she did. Khloe turned towards Rae," So I asked Toshi if he wanted to be a third member of our group." Rae raised her eyebrow. Never has Khloe followed the rules. Not only that but when it came to either Claire, Khloe, or Rae missing from whatever event the other two stuck together until the third came back. Why Khloe even chose Toshi out of anyone in their grade was even more bizarre. Toshi gave a sheepish smile towards Rae,"' if you want me to go I understand..." Rae raised her hands," No! It's fine. Besides, we can tease Claire by saying Toshi is her replacement or something." Khloe gave a smile towards Rae as Toshi grinned and the three headed towards the shrine.

When The three came across a pond with colorful fishes, Rae excused herself. Even though her break-up with Toshi was a few months ago she still felt like it happened yesterday. Rae needed space and she hoped that Khloe would understand that. As Rae walked over the small bridge over yet another small pond, just stopping as she thought a little bit more. "Khloe knew that I didn't feel comfortable around Toshi...so why did she choose him? Why follow the rules now?" Rae had a bad gut feeling as if she eaten rotten strawberries. As Rae headed back towards the two she heard voices, both of them sounding familiar," I want you...don't you want me?!" Rae hid behind a couple of thick dark bamboo sticks. As she watched, she realized the voices belong to Khloe and Toshi. Toshi rubbed the back of his head," Khloe why now? I don't think you truly love me like you say you do..." Khloe grabbed Toshi's shirt," Maybe this will!" Then Rae felt like she went deaf as Khloe pulled Toshi in for a kiss. Once Khloe released him she smirked," Did that prove it to ya?" Toshi looked stunned for a couple of seconds before smiling," Okay. I believe you. I just hope that Rae and you and I just don't get...you know....awkward." Khloe shrugged," Doubt it. You're looking at a new Khloe. If Rae has an issue, then I'm going to fix it." Rae bit her lip as she slowly backed away. Once she felt she was a great distance, Rae ran back towards the bathrooms where she sat in the stalls crying. Rae then wiped away her tears with the back of her hand. Especially if her friend wasn't even going to talk to her about having a crush on her ex. " Maybe that was why she never told...maybe she thought I would reject or sabotage or something..." Rae thought. Rae shook her head. In what world would she sabotage her own best friend? Rae knew one thing for certain.   Whatever Khloe was talking about with her becoming a 'New Khloe' didn't seem good at all.
