"Marcel!"
"Ariel!"
They both collided into each other, limbs intertwined. Pressing their flesh against each other as warmth flared up their heated, youthful skins. Excitement and burning passion tinged the air. The two lovers clung onto eachother tightly.
"Oh Marcel, I haven't seen you in ages!"
The fairy/pixie boy laughed heartedly, stroking her mane of bright red hair as the cooling rush of water flowed it out behind her.
"We saw each other yesterday you clownfish!"
"Yeh, like I said, AGES!"
Lovingly, she brushed a lock of his golden hair out of his violet coated with pisstachio green specks eyes. The moment was theirs.
"I do love you so."
Marcel gripped her slim waist, spinning her round and round and round till she was giddy and drunk with the feeling. Miniature bubbles swirling around them in a tornado of love.
"Love you more."
"Not possible."
"I'm possible."
He cupped her hand, exciting her heart, as they lay side by side in the soft carpet-like sand. Staring into each others eyes, they both grinned at each other. Lust, longing and love radiating in the space around them. His muscled frame and broad shoulders caused thrills and ripples to pass through her body.
Suddenly, a crystal tear slithered out of the corner of Marcel's huge meaningful eyes.
"Marcel? What's wrong?"
The mermaid softly swept the tear away, leaving a fragile kiss print instead.
"I'm a failure." The fairy turned directions, greeting her with his toned, muscled back.
"What? No!"
She swam towards his troubled face, cupping it in her hands and nuzzling his nose.
"What makes you say that?"
"I-" His voice broke, as he clenched his fists tight. "I- My magic is of no use. I cannot postpone faith anymore. My love."
"MARCEL!" She cried, tears streaming down her cheeks as her heart slowly shattered like delicate china. "Don't say that!" She gulped, body trembling.
The boy slowly rose to his feet, "I'm sorry Ariel, but it's best if I leave now. It's easier this way."
"NO!" She cried, launching herself into his arms, clinging on like seaweed. "No Marcel! Faith won't happen! I can't love anyone other than you!"
Letting out a shuddering breath, he shook his head. His eyes containing a murky sadness to them.
"I'm sorry."
"NO! Don't leave me Marcel!"
Flicking her tail, she swam after him, confused and scared.
"Atleast, Atleast don't let me turn into sea foam." Her voice cracked as she stared at him freeze, hope brightening her eyes like the sun.
"I have no choice."
And he was gone.
"Atleast tell me when it will start?" She cried into the ocean, although he was long gone. Marcel, being magic and having extremely good ears, cast a swift spell on the waves before regretfully leaving his love behind.
The ocean echoed to her his magic. "By your 16th birthday, my love."
My love... The words warmed her heart, but reality cooled it again.
"But.." She whispered. "My 16th birthday's next week."
