I winced as he cut my skin with the needle. I never thought getting a tattoo was going to be this painful. This is even worse because Andy decided to do it along my wrist. I felt like a big baby for wincing. When I did Andy’s tattoo it didn’t even hurt him. He pretty much just laughed his ass off. What a guy.

“I’m almost done, Aspen, just a few more seconds.” He said.

I nodded my head and took a deep breath. “Alright.”

Moments later Andy was cleaning off the tattoo. I sighed in relief thanking God it was over. I waited until Andy finish cleaning off the tattoo. Once he was done I lifted my wrist slightly to look at it more clearly. I can’t believe what he just tattooed on me. “Andy Biersack’s Property”, and underneath was the date we first meet. I looked to his face and found him smiling.

“What? You are my property.” He winked.

I could feel my cheeks blush up and I couldn’t help but to look down to the ground. Did he just say I was his property? Does he actually like me more than a friend? Or is he playing around? Oh God, he’s probably playing around and I’m here blushing. What an idiot.

“You like it, Aspen?” He asked.

I looked up to his blue eyes and smiled. “I love it. Thank you, Andy.” I said as I stood up and kissed his cheek. “It’s better than the one I gave you.” I laughed, looking down to his forearm. My fingers stroked the double A’s that I had tattooed on his forearm. Two A’s for Aspen and Andy. I thought that was cute.

“Not even, I think yours is way better.”  He said.

I looked up to his eyes and smiled. His blue eyes were locked with my hazel green eyes. He had his lips into a smile and of course, so were mine. We stood like a couple of idiots staring into each other’s eyes until Andy’s phone ruined the moment. I blushed and stepped away, giggling. He chuckled as he answered his phone.

I walked around the store wondering why it was abandoned. I thought it was pretty cool. It was pretty big with lot of space, but of course it was empty.

I could hear Andy chattering on the phone, but not gone enough to understand what the topic was about. I bet it something about his band. Yes, his lovely band. I chuckled softly remembering the day he first took me to watch him sing. It was Halloween night and Andy’s band had a small gig in a mini gothic area outside of Cleveland. Andy had decided to dress up as Batman since he was completely in love with Batman. He wore the complete outfit, including the mask, and the belt. I let out a soft giggle at the image that was still in my head. He looked so adorable. Anyways, so we arrived in Cleveland. Him in his Batman costume and me in my Wonder Woman costume. Andy went to the back of the stage while I stood out in front with the rest of the people who came to see the concert. I glanced around noticing that only Andy and I were the ones dressed up. At the moment I was kind of blushing because I was embarrassed, but I knew I wasn’t alone. I stood in the far corner waiting for the show to go on. Minutes later the stage curtains opened revealing the band. Andy stood up front with a microphone in his hand. He had taken his mask off so he could see better, I assume. He looked over at me and gave me one of his crook smiles. I grinned so wide that my chin began to hurt.

“Hey! How’s everyone doing today? I’m Andy Biersack and this is my band Black Veil Brides! We only have a couple of songs for you today, so I hope you enjoy.” He said into the microphone.

Chris started off the song with the drums then stepped in Johnny with guitar and Phil with the bass. The first song and probably the well known one, was Knives and Pens. Andy had written it to describe how it is to feel and look different. This song was very meaningful. It was one of the best moments in my life to have a chance to watch Andy sing.

“Earth to Aspen, are you here? Or what?” I heard Andy said.

I shook my head, coming out of my imagination. I looked over to Andy, who was standing by the door. “Are we leaving already?” I asked, walking towards him.

He nodded his head. “Yes, that was my mother on the phone. She needs to talk to me.” He said.

Oh so I was wrong. It wasn’t about his band. His mother just wanted to talk to him. I smiled once up at him and walked outside. I heard the door closed and his footsteps behind me. They came closer and closer until I felt his arms wrap around my waist, pulling me back to him. I giggled and trying to pull out of his grip. He laughed, letting me go.

“Aspen, can you make me a promise?” He asked with a serious tone in his voice.

I looked to him as we walked down the street. “Sure, what is it?” I asked.

For minutes we walked in silence until finally he speaks. “Promise me we’ll be best friend forever no matter what happens.”

This was the first time Andy has referred me as his best friend. I was touched. “I promise, Andy, but why now? Why are you asking me now after all these months we been really close friends?” I asked.

“Because I felt like today was the right day to tell you.” He answered, taking my hand.

Something was wrong I could feel it in the pit of my stomach and also when he took my hand. He never took my hand unless he was bored. Or something is wrong, but I was afraid to ask so I just went along with it.

“O…okay.” I stuttered, tightening my grip on his hand.

The rest of the walk to my home was quiet. The only sound you can hear was the wind blowing the leaves around. We finally reached my house. I went up the porch steps but stopped at the very last one to look at him. “I’ll see you tomorrow, yes?”

He smiled. “Yes.” He answered. “Goodnight Aspen.” He leaned forward and kissed my cheek.

My eyes closed for a brief moment, enjoying the feeling of his kiss. When I reopened my eyes, he was gone. Andy was gone and something tells me he lied when he said we’ll see each other tomorrow. I hope I was wrong.
